~ Radox Eastern Spirit Shower Gel ~

Boots have had a half price offer on selected Radox products so I do admit to going a tad over board and have bought quite a lot! To make the half price offer even better they were also on a 3 for 2 offer as well!
I know the savings weren't huge but I can't resist a bargain!

The only reason I bought this particular shower gel was because the gel is such a pretty colour, through the see through plastic bottle you can see a delightful shade of shimmery pale coral and it just looks nice and girly!

Just like the other Radox shower gels this one comes in a curvy plastic see through bottle allowing you to see the gel inside. The bottle stands on it's black plastic flip top lid and at the top is a flip over hook for hanging the bottle in the shower.
The flip top cap is easy to open even with wet hands and once open you can see a small rubbery covering over the hole, this stops the gel leaking out whilst it is hanging up in the shower yet doesn't make releasing the gel any more difficult. A gentle squeeze will allow a nice amount of gel to be squirted onto your hand.
There is sticker on the front of the bottle telling us all the relevant information and that this particular shower gel is infact a Limited Edition fragrance.
The picture shows pretty pink and white flowers with the shadows of an eastern picture. Very pretty indeed.

Whilst in Boots I will openly admit that I flipped open the lid and gave the bottle a little squeeze so that I could smell what this shower gel well, smelt like and I was quite impressed. It has a gentle floral freshness and I quite liked it!

Radox says Eastern Spirit is "A rejuvinating blend, with oriental lotus flower and orange blossom"

Like I mentioned already the scent to me seemed floral yet fresh. I can't really describe it any way other than that! It's quite a girly scent and my son won't touch it!

I have used this a few times whilst in the shower and I have to say that I am impressed with it. I squeeze a little bit out onto my shower puff (thingy!!) and after giving it a quick squeeze the gel really lathers up well, I then proceed to wash myself (as you do....) and the scent whilst still quite strong does seem to disperse into a lighter scent which is still very nice. I find that after having a shower the scent doesn't linger for too long, probably about an hour and then your just left with a nice clean feel/scent.
I don't feel particularly moisturised after using this but then again it isn't for that so as a shower gel which gets me clean and fresh this is certainly a product that works.

Before submitting this review I scrolled down on the dooyoo page and noticed that the first review was written in May 2011 so maybe it's not that much of a limited edition seeing as it has now been around for over a year!

I do quite like this shower gel and will certainly buy it again in the future, at the moment my hubby is having fun trying out the rediculous amounts of gels, foams etc that I have bought but he did say that this was too girly for him!

Ladies I think this may just be a shower gel for us!
