As previously mentioned I am not a bath fan but since moving into the new house I have no choice as there is no shower fitted. I like to have bubbles in the bath and always have since being a child, I don't know why but I hate sitting in a clear bath. I thought I would give Radox a try as this is a well known brand, I chose muscle therapy as I run at least three times a week and thought the blend may help to sooth my tired legs.
Radox first started producing salts for a foot bath in 1908 to cool and soothe tired housewives feet, now they are a worldwide brand owned by Unilever. Radox not only produce bubble baths but also shower gels, liquid soaps and deodorants.
This bubble bath is in a clear plastic bottle, measuring 23cm tall with a black screw top lid which is easy to open. I think the slim tall bottle looks very nice on the bath side especially being able to see the deep red gel inside, its a very rich and classy looking colour. The front label is clear with white writing and an image of leaves infused with pepper and ginseng. The back label describes the product, ingredients and has the barcode.
The muscle therapy contains what is described as a stimulating blend. The scent is slightly masculine with a hint of spice and warmth, to sit in I feel a warmth not only from water temperature but from the mixture even as the water cools. The fragrance of the ginseng and pepper really do open the airways and help when I have a cold.
The bubble bath is thick in consistency and bubbles up nicely the best when poured straight under a hot running tap. The soap suds feel luxurious and for £1 a bottle this is well worth it.
Summary: A soothing warm blend of fragrances make a great bath
