Radox Herbal Bath Muscle Therapy
Advantages: Interesting smell compared to others, good bubbles
I love to have a long soak in the bath and I'm forever trying out different bath products but I always revert back to my good old reliable Radox! There's nothing quite like relaxing in a bath after a long day and so although it seems a little bizarre I do look forward to my evening bath, it's a chance for me to unwind and to have some time to myself therefore I take the quality of bubble bath seriously!
I chose this particular flavour of radox because it looked different with being red- how many other deep red bath products are there out there? It certainly caught my eye on the shlef and I was curious to know what it smelt like- black pepper and Ginseng. Definitely a different flavour to have in the bath, far from the likes of rose and lavendar that's for sure!
This bottle is tall and slim which I like. I like the fact it's this shape as it means that it doesn't take up lots of room on the shelf and it looks quite elegant especially with the deep red liquid inside. The lid is a screw cap which is only small so it's not a problem to get on and off and isn't even a problem if you have wet hands either it's very simple to use.
You don't need very much in your bath at all, I am always suprised by just how little you need to get a good amount of bubbles- I tend to use just one 'drop' of it, by this I mean about the size of a 50p and so long as the taps are running when it goes in you don't need to interfere, none of the whole splashing around the water to try to lather up bubbles, instead you just leave it to it's own devices and a very large amount of bubbles soon appear!
The bubbles are large and crisp, they're the kind that when you lie back into them they fluff up around you and don't just disappear after a few seconds, they are bubbles which stay right to the end of your bath!
The smell of this is very different to other bubble baths that I have used before and I think maybe it's more marketed with men in mind but this doesn't mean that us girls can't enjoy it too, it's certainly not a 'male only' kind of smell! It's a rich, spicy smell which isn't over powering but still a strong smell all the same. The black pepper isn't an obvious smell which is good! I didn't want to emerge from the bath smelling like I had just been seasoned!
I find that when I use this bubble bath that the water in the bath seems slightly softer and a lot more relaxing. I don't know whether it's the smell, the bubble bath itself or the ingredients used or maybe just a psychological reaction but it does make me feel a lot more relaxed.
I really like this product, I like how the bubbles are really impressive and it does result in a very relaxing bath. After having bathed in this you don't come away carrying the aroma of spices behind you but it does make you feel refreshed yet relaxed in a really satisfying way.
You can buy Radox from most stores and if you're lucky you can buy it for a bargain £1. I do recommend this if you're after something slightly different and enjoy having a good relax!
Summary: I like!
