Advantages: smells lovely, great lather, long lasting smell and has exfoliating beads for scrubbing!
Disadvantages: Bit misleading with "spa retreat" description!
Superdrug recently had a promotion on this shower gel for 99p in stores, and since it was the Radox brand and smelled nice after a quick whiff in the store I decided to buy 2 bottles and stock up before the prices rocketed up again!
The description on this shower gel is Fig & Neroli Oil; a caring natural oil which is meant to make the user feel as though they are at a spa retreat...a bit of an exaggeration but we all know they have to plug the product a bit with some hyperbolic description of the feeling experienced whilst in the shower.
The shower gel is a gentle light pink colour, with exfoliating scrub particles, said to be fig, floating around in it. It is quite a thick, rich consistency typical of Radox shower gels which I appreciate. It smells a bit like strawberry in my opinion, but does have a hint of a fig scent floating around. To be fair, I have never smelt neroli oil before so cannot confirm what this smells like, but the scent is in now way overbearing and I feel when having a steaming hot shower, when using this shower gel it produces a great smell which fills my bathroom and smells lovely.
In the shower I use a flannel but mainly use a bath pouf. I spread this shower gel all around, probably equivalent to a tablespoons worth and I find this lasts long, lathers substantially and is ample to wash my entire body. I definitely find this shower gel more compatible and easier to lather with a bath pouf so would recommend it in accordance with this. I have had this shower gel about 2 weeks now, and have to admit I look forward to showering just to use it! Showering once a day, occasionally twice a day, in 2 weeks I have used about 80% of the 250ml bottle. I genuinely am glad I bought 2 bottles and will be popping to superdrug soon to see what other fun and fragrant scents this range comes in and may stock up on some more if they are still 99p!
N.B. can be bought from numerous other retailers e.g. Boots, Supermarkets etc but I have seen it cheapest in Superdrug!
Summary: a decent shower gel, not too over priced, as expected from radox brand
