“ Brand: Radox / Type: Bath Cream / What it does: Calms, „
First off I must point out that the product I am reviewing is slightly different in name but pretty similar looking to what this link is for. Not my fault, Dooyoo have asked me to write my review here and I assume that the product I am writing about could even be this one but its been revamped slightly since this link was added!
So I am reviewing Radox 'Relax' Bath Therapy which contains lavender & waterlilly and is defined as a bath soak not as a bath essence!
500ml oblong shaped plastic see-through bottle and on each side of it the word Radox is embossed and it has a purple plastic twist on/off cap to the top of it. On the front of the bottle I am told that it is Radox Relax Bath Therapy 'Restore harmony, with lavender & waterlilly bath soak' and there is picture of lavender on there and I am told that Radox have been blending natural herbs since 1908. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, the size is stated and contact details for H&BC UK Ltd are given. Nice simple looking bottle this is which is informative enough, easy to handle and unisex in its appearance but it really isn't fancy.
All you need to use of this light purple coloured runny liquid is a small blob. It has a rich but still natural aroma of waterlilly to it which I assume is just a floral fragrance with a hint of lavender to it which I wasn't expecting. Being a calming bath soak I assumed it would be richly fragranced with lavender which it really isn't and I think the smell of this is actually rather feminine but like I say natural and its slightly sweet!
This makes a few bubbles that last a good hour or so on the water, turns the water slightly soft and holds its relaxing fragrance for a good hour or so. This I found nice and cleansing on my skin and didn't upset it at all and it really did relax my mind and senses without making me sleepy so don't go thinking this is like the sleep therapy Radox cos it isn't...its simply for helping you chill out a bit and distress and surprisingly for me it really did that. I liked the clean uplifting smell and wasn't disappointed at all when I dried my skin off because not only was my skin left feeling refreshed and me nice and relaxed I was left pleasantly scented for a good few hours too!
I highly recommend this for a de-stressing out session....especaially the girlies for its feminine scent and although I thought in the bottle this looked a bit boring and only purchased it cos it was on offer in Boots at the time for £1.00 it really is a rather rich and indulgent bath product so don't let appearances put you off or your missing out big time!
Available in all good chemists and supermarkets for about £2.00 a bottle.
