      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Wouldn't recommend and certainly will not be re-purchasing

I bought a bottle of this shower smoothie a couple of days ago as it was cheap and I liked the sound of it.

I bought mine from the pound shop and of course paid a pound which seemed like a bargain at the time but even at such a low price I wouldn't re-purchase it again for reasons that I will discuss later in my review. The retail price for this shower gel is around the £2.50 mark in places like Boots etc which is quite expensive in my opinion given the quality of the product.

The shower gel comes in a clear plastic bottle which stands on its flip top lid. The bottle contains 200ml of product and it is see through with product info such as the ingredients etc on both back and front. It says don't eat me on the front which made me smile! I don't think many people would be silly enough to try and eat it but it isn't half as nice smelling as they try to make out and it certainly doesn't smell mouth wateringly good.

As I said above the bottle is clear so the shower gel can be seen through it. The colour will depend on the 'flavour' that you buy. I have the Tropical Tranquility one, which contains papaya and aronia berries. It is a peachy orange colour with black flecks in it. From looking at it in the shop I had assumed it was a body scrub because of these flecks but it isn't so I was a little disappointed.

Upon flipping open the lid I was expecting a really strong, sweet, delicious smell but all I could smell was a very generic shower gel scent which didn't smell particularly fruity or anything. Also, as soon as I'd flipped the lid open the gel poured out as its so thin and runny, so I had to turn it the other way to avoid waste. The shower gel has got a very strange consistency as it is runny however once on my skin it thickens up and is hard to spread over my skin.

It does, however, lather up as soon as it comes into contact with water. I found the large black seeds in it quite off-putting as they reminded me of bugs and insects, and they didn't really have any use as they didn't exfoliate my skin in the slightest. When using the shower gel the smell becomes more noticeable than when it is just in the bottle. It fruity but artificial and it is not a very strong smell. It's not a refreshing or uplifting fragrance, and it reminds me of starburst sweets but it isn't as nice smelling. The smell didn't linger on my skin at all and once I was dried off and dressed I wasn't able to smell it in the slightest.

After using this shower gel I found that my skin was itchy and it had a slight stinging sensation, luckily this only lasted for about 5 minutes and there was only some very slight redness which soon faded. My skin felt dry and not any cleaner or moisturised and I wouldn't use this again. I gave my bottle of it away earlier today it was that bad.

      One out of five stars.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Feels like a luxury product but at a fraction of the price

In the past I've always been the sort of person to just purchase whatever shower gel was on offer in the local supermarket or chemist. I did this because I reckoned that shower gels were all much of muchness and pretty much did the same thing - clean your body. Some might make claims about being more moisturising or having a nice scent, but the end result was always the same - my skin felt dry and stripped afterwards and I always had to use body lotion or body butter afterwards, but not with this one.

I picked this up a couple of months ago when they were on offer in Superdrug. They were a bit more expensive than I usually spend on shower gels, but the smell of this one won me over. I purchased the Island Indulgence version which is made with passion fruit and papaya and smelt very fruity (not surprisingly), but not overly strong like others I have tried in the past. The small fruit seeds are ideal for gently exfoliating dead skin cells but are not so harsh that they leave your skin feeling it was rubbed with sandpaper. And even though it is an exfoliating shower gel, I found this actually to be very moisturising too. The shower gel is more of a thick cream which lathers well but also gently moisturises the skin. I also found the scent to be very invigorating, perfect for those mornings that are a bit more of a struggle. I have even noticed that on mornings where I am running late and I don't have time to moisturise after showering, my skin still stays soft and smooth after using this.

All in all, I'm incredibly pleased with this shower gel. So much so, it's been the only one I've been using over the past 3 months and I still haven't got sick of the smell. I might try out the other products in the same range to change it up a bit but if I don't like them, at least I know I have a firm favourite.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

a lovely shower gel by Radox - but will hunt for it on some kind of offer!

A few weeks ago I got some serious bargains in Sainsburys. Whilst browsing the newly refurbished toiletry/bath and shower aisle I spotted some shower gels and body washes that were massively reduced as they were being discontinued. I got some Johnson's body wash for a mere 25p and the other that caught my eye was this Radox Shower Smoothie collection down to only 75p. I had spotted it in Superdrug ages ago but normally costs £2.95 in there which was a price I wasn't really willing to spend now matter how nice the scent! I bought the 200ml Tropical Tranquility.

It comes in a plastic tube bottle with a top down lid. The packaging is ideal as it faces down so it can easily be squeezed out and when nearing the end of its usage it is already all flowing down to the spout of the bottle. The bottle is transparent so I can see inside the dark greyish, creamy liquid with brown pieces inside. Being tropical tranquility the front of the shower gel states " a luxurious coconut shower smoothie with crushed almonds & myrrh." With a cheeky comment at the bottom that says "don't drink me" lol! There is a picture of an open coconut with almonds flying every where and some coconut milk splashing out.

The shower gel itself is a thick off white/grey-ish colour, and consists of lovely scents of predominantly coconut with actually a mild shea butter undertone. I have never smelt myrrh before so cannot really comment on whether I can smell this or not, but the shower gel really does smell creamy and exotic especially as I am in a bit of a coconut phase at the moment! In the shower the smell really comes out and fills the room when all bubbled up under the hot water and the entire bathroom smells gorgeous.

I use a shower puff when showering with this and I found this shower gel lathers up rather nicely and not a lot is required to create a substantial amount of bubbles at all. I would have thought the little crushed almonds would act almost as an exfoliator of some sort but really once it is all lathered up the wash is more creamy so this tends to go by unnoticed. It is easy to use all over, and with my shower puff it cleans nicely and removes dirt leaving my skin feeling really clean and refreshed afterwards. It does not leave my skin feeling super dry so this is a nice bonus (although I definitely still need to moisturise after washing!). The smell also lingers well on my skin, leaving me smelling absolutely yummy and long after my shower.

I'm a bit gutted that at the time I bought this there was only one left, as for 75p I definitely would have bought more as it is a total bargain and feels like a luxury shower wash at a budget friendly price. It is great for washing, smells lovely and not a lot is needed for a decent wash so a 200ml tube will last a while so I have to give this 5 stars. Althougj is heavily recommended by me, I don't think I would pay full RRP of almost 3 quid as now I've used it for 75p I can't justify it!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

A good shower gel but a little bit too expensive.

I'm not loyal to any paticular brand of shower gel so tend to buy whicveer ones are on offer. I'd seen these radox shower smoothies when shopping but they're about £2.95 a bottle which I think is quite expensive. I noticed them a couple of weeks ago on offer for £1.50 so decided to grab one while they were cheap.

They come in a large tube, similar to a toothpaste tube with a flip lid. On the front, there's the Radox logo then a picture of blackberries and cranberries beneath it giving the idea that it's going to be nice and fruity smelling. The tube is see-through so you can see the product. I bought the soul soother which is combination of blackberry and cranberry seeds in a luxurious shower gel. It actually looks like a pink fruity smoothie with bits of fruit in it. It looks really edible!

When I opened it, it has a nice fruity smell and you can smell the cranberries. It smells and looks good enough to eat. I had to laugh because on the bottom of the tube by the lid, it says 'Don't drink me' which would normally be a ludicrous thing to write on a shower gel but it's almost necessary on this!

I used a walnut sized amount in the shower with a scrunchie. It lathers up really nicely so I didn't have to use extra shower gel. The fruity smell is really pleasent and you can feel the seeds in the 'smoothie' which help to make your skin feel cleaner when using it.

When I got out the shower, my skin felt lovely and soft and clean and I could still smell the fruity fragrance. I couldn't ask for more from a shower gel, nice fragrance, lathers up nicely and lasts pretty well. I'm going to give it four stars instead of five because although it's good, I still think it's a bit too pricey.

            A luxury shower gell

After joining this website this shower gell caught my eye! I Read through a mixture of reviews I decided to try it out! The first thing that came to my attention was the price. My local supermarkets retail price is £2.88 per bottle, which for me is expensive for a shower gell. I started of with the soul souther as soon as I opened the bottle the smell was unbelievable! The best way I can describe it is it smelt like a delicious fruit yogurt I wanted to eat it! If you like a plain shower gell this product is not for you. The gell has a rough texture and is great for a scrub. The tub has a flat flip lid and stands up handy if you don't have a ledge. The bottle is not the traditional radox hook so it can not be hung from the shower. The fruity smell lasted all day absolutely lovely! I was disappointed in the price but I would say it's deffinatley worth it. A big thumbs up from me.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            A nice shower gel

Today I am going to be reviewing the radox shower smoothies. I have the berry one and i got it on the way to the airport as I needed a mini shower gel for my holiday. It was the first one on the shelf and I was in a bit of a hurry so I grabbed it quickly without really looking, just seeing the radox sign and thinking of radox as a good brand. The scent of mine is called Soul Soother.

It is packaged in a clear squeezy tube with a flip top lid. Inside the tube the smoothie is a lovely light pink colour and you can see some of the cranberry seeds they mention on the front of the tube which I assume are there for slight exfoliating purposes. A full size one costs £2.80 in boots and contains 200ml of product.

The smell of this shower gel is just gorgeous. It has in it cranberry, blackcurrent and chamomile and you can smell them in that order really. You can smell mostly the cranberry and blackcurrent while the camomile is there but not overpowering the berry scent. Its such a rich yet light, fresh berry scent and I love using it in my shower !

It's easy to get out of the tube, it's not too thick or too watery. It's just a nice consistency that's easy to use. It rinses off my skin nicely leaving it soft and moisturised and smelling gorgeous !!

Overall, although thi is slightly expensive for a shower gel, I do think it is a great product and it smells so good !!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Treat Yourself :)

I always find it difficult to pick up a shower gel that I am completely satisfied with. It may not smell good enough, lather up enough, leave me feeling fresh - there is always something wrong with it. I spotted this shower smoothie in the bathroom the other day and thought it would be worth a try, even if it just got added to my review list.

            ** Pampered Shower Smoothies **

As I found this in the bathroom, I'm not really sure what this range offers in availability price and choice. However, I am pretty sure that my mum got this quite cheap in Wilkos.

The smoothie that we have is advertised to be 'exfoliating and enerising' with a 'zingy blend of green tea, lemon grass and gingko'. Just from reading the descirption, I couldnt imagine how this would smell, but once lathered up there was a strong scent in the air which reminded me of tea tree.

            ** Packaging **

This shower smoothie is packaged in a clear, 250ml, squeezy tube. The smoothie itself is a pale green colour which gives the clear bottle this colour and a refreshing look. On the front of the bottle is a picture of the ingredients, again all green, and green writing describing the product. The packaging is very basic but looks smart and the green really grabs your attention.

Also, the squeezy tube is very easy to open and release the smoothie for application. All you have to do is simply flick the cap open and squeeze to release a generous amount, which can be done easily with one hand.

            ** Treat Yourself **

The main thing that I love about the smoothie is the fact that it has little beads in it to exfoliate your skin. This allows me to double this up as a face wash and removes all of my make up easily whilst still leaving my skin extremely soft.

Also, once the smoothie has been lathered up and applied to the skin, it feels extremely soft as if applying a cream, even when using a shower puff to wash. I adore the way this feels on my skin as it makes me feel like I am moisturising at the same time and as if I am only using natural products.

The scent of this also adds to it plus sides as it is extremely fresh and strong. The scent reminds me of a weaker tea tree oil, which is a favourite of mine anyway.

You really don't need a lot of this to wash because it lathers up so well and one small squeeze of the tube provides more than enough for one wash. I have been using this for 2 weeks now and am still less than 1/4 of the way through the bottle!

I honestly cannot see any downsides to this shower smoothie and will definately be stocking up!

            Go on, treat your skin!

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            a lovely smelling shower gel

J' Accuse Lush. Once upon a time ago a shower gel was a shower gel and simply washed whilst perhaps smelling nice. Nowadays its an invigorating, moisturising, exfoliating intoxicating experience all wrapped up so it look good enough to eat. Even good old Radox whose herbal gels have been around for donkey's years have jumped on the bandwagon with their smoothie range of shower gels. There's four heavenly sounding varieties to choose from in the range. Tropical Tranquility with coconut, almond and myrrh and Island Indulgence a very fruity papaya and passion fruit both sound delectable but I tend to opt for the one called Soul Soother to calm my my nerves after a manic day at work.

            SMOOTH YOUR TROUBLES AWAY

Soul Soother is a lovely rich creamy shower gel containing chamomile, black currants and cranberry seeds. It comers in a 200 ml wedge shaped tube with a flip top lid at the bottom. One moan I have about this product is I wish it came in a larger size. I always seem to go through this like nobodies business. I don't think a bottle of this lasts longer than two weeks. Whilst not being ridiculously expensive I only tend to buy Radox Soul Soother when it is on special offer, as its normal price of around about £2.50 is just that little bit expensive for an every day shower gel especially when it goes so quickly. I think I paid about £1.30 for this bottle in Tescos a couple of weeks ago.

            VERY BERRY

I never think of this gel as a smoothie but more of a berry flavourd yoghurt. I know this sounds a bit weird and disgusting but it really does with its delicate pearly pink colour and the little specks that are the cranberry seeds. The scent is very enticing , as soon as I flip the lid back I get a whiff of succulent sweat berries. Strangely enough for a chamomile and blackcurrant gel it reminds me more of a raspberry yoghurt!! The chamomile is very faint and in the background and the black currants must be mingling in with the cranberry seeds to give such an intoxicating scent. However if you smell it for longer the black currant becomes slightly more evident.

The chamomile is an ideal base due to its herbal proprieties. Chamomile has two very useful properties. Firstly it is known as an enhancer for blond hair. I've not noticed the effect this shower gel has on my naturally blond body hair. I'd love to think it gives me pubic highlights!!. Second ally and more importantly for this gel its well known for its relaxing and calming proprieties, hence its use in herbal teas. I assume the cranberry seeds are there as a light exfoliant.

            HUBBLE BUBBLE

The bottle is easy enough to squeeze to get just enough of the pink gel onto either your hand, sponge or net shower puff. Its not a bad consistency at all. It's not runny so you don't lose half of it down the plughole nor is it too sticky at all. It is best used with a net puff where it fluffs up to a lovely cloud of soft small but dense berry scented bubbles. The one problem of using a puff is that often the cranberry pips seem to remain on it and not on my body. This is no great loss, as they seem a bit soft to be a particularly effective exfoliant. I think I prefer almonds or sea salt if I want to have a decent scrub.

The gel rinses fairly well with little residue leaving my skin, clean, fairly soft and smooth and with a hint of the lovely berry scent . It seems more apparent on some parts of my body than others. This seems to totally disappear within an hour of showering. Was my soul soothed. I would say yes , as the lovely berry scent gently massages my senses. I'm sure the chamomile plays it part. As well.

This is a shower gel I love using due to its wonderful scent. However due to the size of the bottle and the cost of it especially full price this tends to to be a treat for me when I fancy a bit of shower TLC.

              A pampering shower gel!

I got this for my brithday today from my brother (happy birthday to me lol!)

              ~Packaging and Appearance~

Radox Shower Smoothies Island Indulgence comes in a 200ml squeezy bottle. There are many other flavours to choose from too. On the front of the bottle is the title of the product and a short description as well as a picture of all the fruits that go into it, and on the back is a slightly longer description and an ingredients list.

              ~Contents~

The shower gel is orange in colour with little black fragments. These are real fruit seeds. The shower gel is a blend of passion fruit and papaya with aronia berries and real fruit seeds. The gel indeed does smell very tropical and fruity. To wash the whole of my body I needed a 10p-sized blob, as the gel is actually quite thick. The little seeds weren't abrasive at all, and exfoilated nicely. When I stepped out of the shower, I was smelling great and my skin was so smooth. It definately a nice change to my usual Body Shop Shower Gel, and I will be buying more of this!

              ~Value~

One bottle of Radox Shower Smoothies costs £2.80 from Boots, which is a little bit overpriced but it's well worth it, and after all some Poundland shops stock this shower gel, so you can get it fromt there are save money.

                Fantastic!

If you're like me and absolutely LOVE fruity smelling things, then this is the shower cream for you my friend! All three scents are gorgeous smelling leave your body (and bathroom for that matter) smelling like heaven.

When they first came out they were limited edition - I had grabbed the one to go on holiday with and fell in love with it, so when I came back I actually went and raided my local Superdrug of their Smoothies collection because of the whole 'Limited Edition' thing. I came home with one big bag of these shower creams - Im not joking but I had bought 17 altogether - Im not quite sure if I thought this would cure my new addiction at some point of that it may last the rest of my life but I was chuffed to bits anyway and band my partner from using them and storing them in my bathroom cupboard.
Because I loved it's long-lasting smell so much I sometimes got carried away with it and kept lathering myself up with it - when I realised I was running low I was strict with myself and said I would only use it when I went out for the night or for special occassions.
However, one day I was roaming around Tesco and saw them on offer for £1 a bottle!!! RESULT!! =D and I was so happy that there was nothing about a limited edition on its front, so again I grabbed a few off the shelf, this time I was good I only had 9 - 3 of each and for a pound you can't go wrong!!
So now it's no longer a special edition I have allowed myself to use it on a daily basis and gave permission to my partner to use it again :)

As I said before the smells are fantastic (Im hoping they have some more in the pipeline) and the smell is quite long-lasting, I get a few sudden whiffs of it during my day from time-to-time and I've never had that with shower cream before. It's also very smooth to the touch and leaves your body feeling extra smooth and silky.
I would most definately recommend this to absolutely anyone!

                A smoothie for the body...yes please :)

                What Do I Think?
I don't know about anyone else, but when trying out a new shower product, or bath product for that matter, the first thing I do is give it a good sniff! You don't want to get something home and realise it stinks, and not in a good way! A shower smoothie certainly sounds like something tasty, and the Natural Balance with it's delicious yoghurt and honey, and little bits of almond appealed to my taste buds as well as my scent buds! Of course, I didn't take a swig, but I was smitten from the smell alone initially. Normally I squeeze my shower products onto a puff, or exfoliating mitts, and lather myself up to my hearts content, however with these, I just slather them onto wet skin, step out from underneath the water so it doesn't rinse away too soon, and enjoy the yummy fragrance. The scent lingers on the skin better this way I find, and the little almond bits probably do a teeny tiny bit of exfoliating. I wish this scent was available for bath bubbles, because it really is delicious! The Energy Therapy smoothie is slightly different, in that it is very fresh and 'zingy', and has what I would describe as a more unisex, even masculine scent. I think this is just my personal preference to fragrances, I prefer the muskier type of scents, but aside from that, this is still a pleasure to use, and has a nice cooling sensation on the skin - perfect for hot summers days. I'm definitely going to try out the other 'flavours' from the range!

                Where Is It Available?
Radox products are available from Boots, Superdrug and most UK supermarkets and pharmacies, instore and online.

                Would I Recommend It?
Yes, I really like these products, they make a nice treat in the shower, the skin feels lovely afterwards and the scents are divine - good enough to eat, which is probably why it says "do not drink" on the packaging!

At Christmas I received a Radox Shower Smoothie in my stocking and have finally got round to testing it out!
I received the Tropical Tranquillity variety, however these shower smoothies are also available in soul soother, spirit booster, natural balance and energy therapy all offering different fragrances and ingredients. The idea of the smoothie is that natural ingredients have kind of been thrown in together to produce these shower products.

The product is packaged in a clear plastic 200ml tube where you can see the shower smoothie inside. It stands on a clear plastic flip lid that is easy to open to get to the liquid. Currently it is priced at £2.54 from Boots Chemist.

The tropical tranquillity is a coconut shower cream with almonds and myrrh. If I am truly honest I wouldn't normally choose a coconut based bath or shower product, simply because they remind me of cheap shampoo - I know this sounds awful but it really does. Anyway not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I was grateful for my gift so have used it to see how it compares.

The smoothie as it is called, is a fairly thick cream like liquid. It is much thicker than shower gel and feels richer and of a better consistency. When I poured it onto my hand it stayed put, not running out of my hand before having a chance to wash myself - this has happened with other shower products! It is a beige/light brown colour with actual small pieces of what I can assume are the crushed almonds. When you apply the cream to your skin you can feel the small pieces, I think this is to give a slight almost exfoliating effect.

Now onto the smell...this does actually smell really nice and nothing like coconut shower products I have used before. The coconut fragrance is evident but quite subtle and not overpowering, it almost smells good enough to eat.
The cream when I mixed with a little water, lathered really well on my skin, quickly forming bubbles. It also rinsed away relatively easy too, making the whole experience quite enjoyable and luxurious. My skin felt really soft and moisturised after showering, which lasted for quite a while.

I have been quite impressed with this shower smoothie, and will definitely be trying the other varieties to find my favourite!

A new take on Shower Gels...

When it comes to toiletries and shower gels I have no brand loyalty and pretty much buy whatever is on offer at the time of purchasing. I usually have a bottle of Original Source Mint shower gel hanging around in our bathroom as I do like the smell of it and nothing else wakes me up quite as much as the cool tingle of mint around my bits on a morning but other than that everything is bought with an eye on the price and what takes my fancy at the time.

Recently on a shopping trip in Boots I noticed that there was a special offer on Radox Smoothies and at half price seemed an ideal time to try these out. Radox as a brand name is well known and I have tried many a product of theirs from bubble baths to shower gel in the past so was happy to pay £1.50 for a 200ml bottle of Shower Smoothies: Spirit Booster.

As dooyoo have a generic picture above for these products I will quickly describe the packaging and how the shower gel actually appears and on first inspection you would be forgiven for thinking that this is quite unlike any other shower gel you may have bought in the past. Spirit Booster is kind of bluey-grey in appearance and thick and creamy in texture and to be honest doesn't look that appealing, the front of the packaging explains that this is a formulation of yoghurt and pomegranate complete with elderberries and takes it appearance from the Smoothie drinks which have become increasingly popular nowadays.

Whilst its visual appearance isn't that appealing to the eye its how the product smells which is its main attraction as the moment you open the bottle itself you are greeted by the mouthwateringly tasty aroma of fresh berries and sweet yoghurt. A small quantity of the gel is enough to lather up and release the creaminess of the ingredients and unlike traditional shower gels is not all that soapy when applied to the skin. Instead this seems to gently cleanse your body whilst moisturising it at the same time and during the process you are bombarded by the delicious aroma of its ingredient mix. Being a bloke I don't particularly want to smell of yoghurt or elderberries and thankfully for me this isn't something which lingers on my skin after I have bathed or showered, what it does do however is leaves my skin feeling nourished and supple and I have become quite a fan of this product since discovering it.

I think by its nature it would appeal more to women who like to pamper themselves and look after their skin and is perhaps not all that masculine in all honesty, it does feel and smell extravagant which is an indicator of its price tag when not on offer and would be what I consider to be on the luxurious side of shower creams and gels. It does offer something different though and makes a welcome change to the usual offerings that are available on the market place and it is of course manufactured by a significant player in the world of bathing products - Radox.

There are no warnings on the bottle as to who this wouldn't be suitable for, presumably anyone who has reactions to other shower gels or soaps may want to steer clear as I would imagine this contains similar key ingredients. Other than that and the rather cheeky "Don't drink me" which is printed on both the front and back of the bottle I would say that this is suitable for all ages and all skin types. For a new product; a "shower smoothie" I think this is clever move from Radox and should certainly appeal to a lot of people.

Prices do seem to vary from place to place with this product and range from anything from £1.00 up-to £3.00, it is available in all the usual places of Supermarkets and chemists and comes in a variety of different 'flavours'. My review has been for "Spirit Booster" but there are other options to choose from all containing yoghurt plus various fruits and berries and each have their own distinctive colourings. As far as my rating goes I have no reason to deduct any stars, the smell is delicious, the cream does what it was designed to do and I enjoy using it therefore five stars seem appropriate to me.

Definitely recommended, thanks for reading my review.

                    a nice bath/shower product

I love anything with a coconut scent and so when I spotted the Radox tropical tranquillity shower smoothies in Boots on offer for just a pound I thought I would have to try it. The Radox brand to me is one that I quite like and I have always found that their bath foams are of a really good quality and so I was looking forward to trying this new product.

The shower smoothie comes in a clear plastic tube which stands on its lid. I always like products like this as it means your product is always running towards the lid and so is ready to squeeze out rather than at the top of the tube and you have to wait for ages for it to reach the bottom. On the front of the bottle there is the green Radox logo as well as a picture of some broken coconuts which to me makes the product look very appealing!

The bottle tells us that the tropical tranquillity variety is "A luxurious coconut shower smoothie with crushed almonds and myrrh. Smell me. I'm a beach holiday in a bottle. All thick and creamy and full of natural ingredients. Your skin will thank you!" The bottle also carries a "don't drink me" warning which I would imagine is very much tongue in cheek but is suggesting that the product really does smell goes enough to eat or drink!

When I am in the shower I apply some of this product to a sponge for application to my body. What I notice immediately when squeezing the product on to my sponge is how the cream just has this lovely sweet coconut smell which is great in my opinion. Secondly I notice that within the shower smoothie there are little flecks of brown which I would imagine is the crushed almonds. These are in no way scratchy on the skin though.

The shower smoothie foams up quite well on my skin in the shower and my skin feels soft and moisturised after use. One thing that I would say lets me down with this product is that the scent doesn't really linger on my skin after I have dried myself which is a shame.

If you are unlucky enough to get some of the product into your eyes you should make sure you rinse them well with some clean water as you would with any other product.

As I mentioned earlier I bought this product for a pound and for a 200ml bottle I think that was pretty reasonable. I do enjoy using this creamy shower smoothie and so does my son. I would purchase it again if I saw it at a good price and this takes nothing from the product-I just like to get a bargain! The shower smoothie does feel nice to use and has a lovely scent-it is just a shame the scent doesn't linger in my opinion! For this reason the product loses a star and gets four out of five stars from me.

Thank you for reading my review!
