Advantages: smell brings back memories

Disadvantages: No lasting fragrance

I previously reviewed the soul soother from the Radox smoothies range and said my next to try was the Tropical tranquillity one which I purchased yesterday.

I looked forward to my bath using this new one. I know they are meant to be shower smoothies but I only have a bath at present.

Sometimes someone is wearing a sun cream or smell that reminds me of holiday times. Well as it says on the tube I'm a beach holiday in a bottle. I do call these tubes and not bottle but you get what it's meaning. The smell is that of coconut sun cream.

This smoothie Tropical Tranquillity is a mix of coconut with crushed almonds and myrrh. I admit I had to Google myrrh as I didn't know what it was, It is sap from trees, obviously certain types.

Radox do try to be comical on their smoothies as the list of ingredients is as follow-
100 years of Radox know-how
A dash of coconut
A handful of crushed almonds
A few drops of myrrh &
A thumbs up from skin experts.

There is a warning on the tube not to drink, well I can't get past the sun cream smell which is lovely but I wouldn't want to taste it.
The smoothie is a thick cream coloured cream which squeezes out of the tube easily as it is the type of tube that the lid is at the bottom. You can see bits of brown and tiny bits of white in the cream which are the coconut and almond. You can only just feel them in the cream and unlike the berry smoothie I previously reviewed it didn't leave bits stuck to my skin.
When the bath was empty of water though I could see the bits in the bath.
I didn't find the scent of this lasted very long once I was out of the bath so the holiday feeling was gone too fast. It did however leave me feeling cream and fresh and it was smooth when using on the skin.

This one cost me £1.24 yesterday in Boots as they are half price at present. Normally cost around £2.50 depending where you but.
The tube size is 200ml
Radox is a trademark of Sarah lee, now chocolate gateau springs to my mind...

Summary: Cheap enough to buy when on offer but pricey when not.
