Radox Shower Smoothies
Advantages: A nice smelling shower smoothie, with bits that work!
Disadvantages: Smell doesn't linger after shower.
After buying another "flavour" in this range, and being quite impressed with it, I decided to give another a chance, though I did have trouble rescuing this from my daughters clutches!
The product I will now review is - "Radox shower smoothie - Energy therapy".
The premise behind this particular one is that it is uplifting and "zingy", perfect for starting your day, though I do have to warn you it should be taken in conjunction with caffeine, I know I have to!
The bottle itself is a squeezy plastic tube, one that stands on it's lid, perfect for getting every last drop out.
There is the relevant "bumf" on the tube, with along winded description of what it does (wakes you up!) and what it contains (lemongrass, ginseng, guarana and soft loofah bits), with the tube being clear with the rather vividly coloured contents being visible within.
The smell of the product is lovely and refreshing, with the lemongrass being the overriding scent, a quite mouth watering smell in fact, though there are warnings on the bottle to remind you not to drink the product!
To use you simply smooth some of the product over wet skin, this in turn lathers up nicely with the loofah bits actually working somewhat, (with other smoothie's I have tried the "bits" have always been superfluous to the smoothie!).
The cream is thick and luxuriant and only a little is needed to wash with, your skin really does feel fresh and zingy, though not as much as the bottle would have you believe!
You really do have to rinse well with this stuff though, as the "bits" can and do get everywhere, and if you don't rinse thoroughly you will be finding them for days!
After drying I was initially a little disappointed that the smell of the product doesn't linger on the skin like the previous one I tried, though my skin still feels lovely and smooth, with there being no irritation to speak of.
Price wise this cost me 99p from a bargain basket ( I love a bargain!), with them being available from places like Boots and Wilkinsons from anything around the £1.00 range.

This is a nice enough shower gel, that does what it is supposed to, but I would like a more lingering scent, recommended!
