Advantages: Lovely smell which lingers

Disadvantages: None

Radox have an excellent reputation for shower and bath products, so I was pleased to discover that a recent guest had left some Radox Shower Smoothie in the shower cubicle. Since it was a 50ml tiny tube of the stuff, I considered it only reasonable that I finish it off for her.

So, first things first - it's a tiny bottle and I can't imagine that they would sell it in this tiny size. However, I suppose it is handy to pop in your toilet bag if you're staying away and I have just noticed that it comes with a bar code, so I guess they do sell it in this 50ml size.

With it being labelled a smoothie, there is an obvious concern that a child or an idiot would think this was a drink, so they have gone out of their way to stress that this is not a drink and that you shouldn't drink it. This warning appears on both the front and the back of the bottle.

On opening the bottle, there is a lovely coconut smell - I believe there are a few different 'flavours' in the range. I love the smell of coconut and this will inevitably make me biased in my review.

As you would expect with a Radox product, the quality of the white cream is evident. Apparently, the product contains crushed almonds and there are just a few bits in it = not enough to make this a decent exfoliator though. It also contains myrrh.

As far as the showering experience is concerned, there is a decent creamy lather which if I had used more, would have been even better. I have had two showers with this so far and there is only a little left in the bottom.

Ordinarily, I tend to go with any old shower crème/gel, but I do get to buy my own because my wife prefers a bath.

I wouldn't normally pay a premium for a branded product but for this one, I may just do this if I happen to see it on offer.

Summary: A quality product
