“ Brand: Radox / Type: Bath Foam „
When I got up one morning last week I was in one of those moods where I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. Don't get me wrong I have plenty of things that I need to do. We are in the throes of moving house so I am packing stuff and also keeping the house as clean and tidy as possible in case we get someone wanting to view.
I decided that exercise would be a good idea to get rid of the general apathy I was feeling. The slabs in the courtyard were in need of their annual clean and it would all help to make the house look better. From the weather forecast it looked as though this was going to be the last day of good weather for a while so out came the pressure washer and I got stuck in.
I worked for three hours this morning and then another three hours this afternoon. When I had finished I ached in places that I had forgotten I had!
I thought that a good soak in the bath would help so I had a look at my array of bubble baths to see what I fancied.
The one that caught my eye was the Radox Solutions Precious Time.
It is obviously a posh Radox Bubble Bath as it is in a clear glass bottle rather than the usual plastic one! It is the same size as the plastic one and has a silver coloured screw top and contains 250ml of bubble bath.
On the front of the bottle there is a picture of a clock and the traditional green Radox logo. The wording tells me that the contents are 'bath foam with patchouli and ylang ylang'.
The liquid inside is gold in colour with a pearlescent quality so it really does look special.
I opened the top and sniffed and the fragrance was lovely. The mix of patchouli and ylang ylang works very well indeed. It is spicy enough not to be sickly sweet and sweet enough not to be too spicy! I'm not good at describing fragrances so that's the best you're going to get I'm afraid!
I poured a generous amount into the bath and watched it bubble up under the flowing water. The bubbles were plentiful and the fragrance filled the bathroom.
I got into the bath and lay back to enjoy my soak. The fragrance remained throughout my time in the bath and lingered on for some time afterwards. Every so often I would move in a certain way and get another whiff.
Apparently the reason for relaxing quality of the bath is that 'Radox solutions combine natural ingredients renowned for their therapeutic benefits with a unique blend of essential oils'.
Well I don't know if that's it or not but I know I definitely enjoyed it.
I have taken a look online and the current cost of this is about £4 so it is a bit more expensive than the standard Radox items but it really is something a little bit special.
I shall definitely be dropping hints for more of this at Christmas - maybe I should start my list now ........
By the way the courtyard looks great too but I ached for days afterwards - and I still have the front to do!
