Orange Deposits Annoy the Woman I Most Want to Attract

      MY USAGE
For years I found Right Guard Xtreme Energy an effective, pleasantly masculine smelling shower gel. I also liked the price. I often bought it from my local 99p Stores.
It says on the container that it is for Body and Hair, and I used it all over.
However, my wife said that I was leaving a colourful orange residue for her to clean up afterwards. She said that I should either make sure that I rinsed the shower gel away fully, or change it for a gel that did not leave residue all over our shower cabinet. I told her that it was the hard water in our area that was causing the discolouration and continued using it.
Since I have retired, I am being found jobs to do around our home. Mostly they are manly DIY jobs, but the missus has also said I should try cleaning what I have called the “hard water deposits”, in our shower room. I now know that she was right. The Right Guard Xtreme Energy shower gel was greatly contributing to the discolouration.
So now I have been given the job of cleaning the shower room, I use a different shower gel, to save me having to spend longer than necessary getting rid of any deposits.

      LONGEVITY
Right Guard claims this shower gel, “Washes away odour causing bacteria for up to 8 hours of freshness.”
There is also a matching anti-perspirant which I always used with it. I found this effective for 24 hours against wetness, but never tested the advertising statement that it gave “up to 96 hours” protection, as I shower daily.
The combination of the shower gel and the anti-perspirant made me feel reasonably confident of my hygiene for 24 hours, however, for special occasions, or if I had been working physically hard, I would shower more than once a day, whichever brand of toiletries I was using.
The Right Guard claim for the matching anti-perspirant is that it has, “Scientifically proven 96H protection against wetness.” It also has a, “Maximum strength formula with antibacterial silver molecules and micro-absorbers.”
Any anti-perspirant can only stop wetness where is it sprayed. As I believe it is unhealthy to spray it all over your body, a daily shower is more important than any claims for more than 24 hours protection for me.

      CONCLUSION
I still think Right Guard Xtreme Energy Shower Gel smells good, comes at a bargain price, and cleans me effectively. However, I no longer use it, as I have found other shower gels that result in the shower room needing to be thoroughly cleaned less often.
