Recently while browsing in a local discount shop I came across a big botle of Sanex bubble bath for £2 and decided to give it a try, I've used other items in the Sanex range and found them to be good so I felt totally confident this bubble bath would be nice. The bottle is a huge 750ml with a slight indent on one side to grip it and a simple flip top. I'm not one for silly bath products with bits of glitter or whatever in them, I like a good old fashioned sensible bubble bath and that's exactly what this promised to be.

On the front it tells us it's for normal to dry skin and contains dermo oils which are apparently "skin identical" so should mimic your natural skin oils. It works to protect skin by improving the skin's natural barrier (those oils again) and moisturise skin and restore skin's natural balance. It advises to keep it away from eyes and if you do get some in your eyes rinse with water immediately. Sanex have a website at www.sanex.net and these products are made by Sara Lee.

The bottle is a light green shade and the bubble bath is the same colour. A squeeze should be added to running water for a fragrant foamy bath. I find I do end up with dribbles of this down the side of the bottle but it rinses away easily enough.

The fragrance of this is definitely unisex and it smells fresh and clean but not floral. It foams up extremely well and will fill your bath full of lovely bubbles without any added silliness as is found with some other bath products and the entire bathroom will smell lovely and fresh and welcoming. It also doesn't leave a layer of scum around the bath as soap does nor does it leave behind an oily residue as some bath foams do.

I have dry skin and have to say this is the thing that lets this product down. In my opinion it's more for normal skin and isn't moisturising at all, I still have to slap on the moisturiser once I've had a bath or my skin would be dry. On the other hand though it's not especially drying either so it's very middle of the road in that respect which is why normal skin should find it perfect. The fresh scent lingers on my skin for hours afterwards and I feel extremely clean after using this. I've also used it in the shower on a body puff and it foams up so well you only need a tiny amount. As it's a big bottle of 750ml it's lasted me ages so far, probably a few weeks and I still have about a quarter of the bottle left despite using it daily.

Overall I really like this, it smells great on men and women and lasts ages but the one thing that's going to get it a star deducted is it doesn't really moisturise very well as it claims to so a four star rating from me and I recommend it, especially to people with normal skin.
