Advantages: Gentle on your skin, Foams effectively and lasts ages!

Disadvantages: None for me

Bath and shower products, I could stand for hours looking at the options available to me and smelling the huge array of scents that these products come in but when it comes down to it, Simple does it for me. When I want my skin to feel clean and moisturised but not smelling of lime, fudge, lavender or vanilla I always turn to their range of products which have only the necessary and essential ingredients in it.

Recently you may have read that I treated my partner to a weekend in Liverpool for his birthday and we stayed in a little boutique hotel who upgraded us to a suite with an iron roll top bath because it was his special day. Whilst out and about in Liverpool we nipped into Boots and I noticed their promotion on Simple - 2 products for £3 and we picked up some bath cream for that bath and some shower gel because we could both use it.

Like the bath cream, the shower gel contains chamomile oil to "soften and smooth" and Cucumber extract to "naturally invigorate" your skin. The gel, like most of the Simple range also contains vitamin B5 to restore, soften and smooth your skin and as with all simple products there are no added "chemical" prefumes or colours so the gel is completely clear.

As with all good shower gels, this foams when applied with a hand, glove, sponge, loofah or puff whatever does it for you. It is also useful as a stand in bubble bath because it produces enough foam that I find lasts long enough for a nice soak.

Simple shower products all come in an upside down rounded top clear tube clear bottle with a lear lable ad the green Simple branding and "smile" on it. The gel comes in a 250ml size, this is common with all of it's shower products like the loofah shower scrub. Priced individually, they retail at around £2.50 but in the Boots offer it was £1.50 and on occasion, Poundland do stock certain lines of the range (usually the shower lines).

Like my other reviews, I'm sure it is fairly evident that I am a fan of Simple products. When they keep making products like this I will keep purchasing them...maybe shares might be an idea!

Summary: Simple Shower Gel - Thats it, what more can I say?
