Advantages: looks nice, good material

Disadvantages: TOO BIG TO USE!!!

I got this puff, like most people, in a Soap & Glory Gift set for christmas but it is usually sold for £3.50. I was excited to use it as I love Soap & Glory products and loved how massive and girly it looked!

The puff is about twice the size of other puffs on the market and a lot thicker, most puffs are quite filmsy which allow for an easy grip and good scrub. Because this Soap and Glory Puff is so compact and large it is extremely hard to get a good grip to achieve a proper good clean. I found it would either slip out of my hands or just move about when I put even the tiniest amount of pressure on when rubbing my skin. Even without these problems I personally found the material used a bit too soft got my liking as I like harsh scrubbers or puffs, the material used doesn't differ much from other puffs. It is that soft plastic fishnetty type stuff that gets scrunched together in a ball to create the shape, this is probably perfect for people with soft or sensitive skin though.

Being so large you end up using far too much of your bodywash as it takes ages to lather up into it and is time consuming rinsing it out too. The puff holds a lot of water which can take long while to dry out between washes, this mixed with being hard to rinse means it won't last long as it is likely to take on an unpleasent smell probably.

The only other thing that makes this puff stand out against others is the ribbon handle is printed with the Soap and Glory name along it. This ribbon is fairly long so it is easy to hand anywhere, it is also quite durable which is great as the puff picks up a lot of water and any that doesn't come out straight away is going to weigh it down.

I've seen other reviews saying they wouldn't buy this puff again because you are mostly paying for the brand name, I think is true but I think you can also see the money is well spent as the puff is very well made, using good material, it's just far too large to actually use! The biggest design flaw is the most important one which is being able to use it, I don't think even people with fairly big hands would be able to cope very well using this. Men probably could but I doubt they're going to use a big pink puff in the shower!

I would buy this again if it were smaller which I'm sure would also make it cheaper and hopefully Soap and Glory will do this one day. Instead, for now, I can recommend the Soap & Glory Hand mitts or just keep to the fairly priced supermarkets that can actually be used!

Summary: Only buy if you have the hands of a giant that can hold it properly!
