Anything to do with bath, body and makeup is right up my street. I love trying new things, having a big collection and I love the feeling of luxurious products. I purchased Soap and glory's 'the breakfast scrub' for myself as a body exfoliater to use in the shower once a week. I do have several others but I couldn't help but buy and try soap and glory's exfoliator too! Yes I love to spoil myself. It was 9 pounds and 50 pence from boots, so it's not very cheap but considering the 300ml tub, it really is worth it. There is a lot of product in the tub and it does last for months if used only once a week.
Because it is quite thick and abrasive, you want to make sure not to use too much as this can be a little too harsh on the skin. It is for this reason that a thick layer of moisturizer is necessary after using the exfoliater. It takes off all the rough layers especially on the heels of my feet, my knees and my elbows. I usually mix it a tiny bit with Johnson's just to make it a little soapy. If you have sensitive skin then either go for some other products especially designed for sensitive skin or use a very small amount of the breakfast scrub. Also make sure not to use it too often, once a week is more than enough for me.
I don't regret buying it at all. In fact I am sure when this finishes I will be buying myself another one. There is too much I love about it. I love the sweet sugary scent, I love the fact that it has oatmeal and banana extract, the cute packaging and that it lasts forever!
It is a pink screw top tub with a picture of a blender on the lid. Pretty retro I think. I recommend it to those with tough skin, definitely not those with sensitive skin. I do wish it was a little cheaper but overall, for such a good and effective product, It's worth the price. I owe my skin that much!
