Advantages: Feminine scent, hydrates and softens skin, calms and soothes after a busy week
Disadvantages: None in my experience
Anyone who knows me will know that I have a love of smellies and I have been known to get quite excited after receiving them as a gift. Consequently, for my birthday this year, my sister generously splashed out on a range of Soap and Glory items one of which was this One Calm All Bubble Bath.
This bubble bath comes prettily packaged in an upright plastic bottle which is topped with a white screw top lid. The bottle is slightly transparent to show the soft pink of the bubble bath liquid inside and the bottle is illustrated with the text 'Calm One, Calm All' and a black and white image of a lady sitting in a foamy bath. The bottle opens easily in my opinion and is therefore perfect when running a bath as the lid screws off easily even with wet hands.
The liquid inside smells heavenly and anyone who has used the Soap and Glory range before will understand my love of the scent. Soap and Glory state that it contains a mixture of bubbled bergamot, strawberries and mandarin with mid notes of musk, amber and warm vanilla. In my opinion it is the bergamot and vanilla scents that stand out the most making my bath smell slightly floral and very feminine. I feel that this is a perfect treat at the end of a busy week particularly at this time of the year when the weather is turning noticeably cooler. The liquid is quite thick in consistency and plops out of the bottle as oppose to runs.
Soap and Glory recommend that a dollop of this bubble bath is poured under running water and then swished to froth up the bubbles. I find that a 50p size dollop of the liquid is adequate for my bath and when swished it not only creates a plethora of bubbles but also fills my bathroom with fragrance. The smell of this bubble bath is really relaxing and I can therefore concur with the calm claims made by Soap and Glory about this product. The bubbles last quite well, although by the end of my bath they are often just a white film on the top of the water. After getting out of the bath I find that my skin feels soft, clean and hydrated and doesn't feel at all dried out. In addition I find this bubble bath soothing to my skin without causing irritation.
A look online reveals that a 500ml bottle of this bubble bath can be purchased from Boots for £5.50. This price is very good in my opinion particularly considering that using only a small dollop a couple of times a week has meant that mine has lasted for a good 4 months now with liquid to spare.
This is a great product and is particularly suited to anyone who wants a relaxing and fragrant bath time. As a result I will be recommending this bubble bath and it scores a great four stars from me.
Thanks for reading! x
Summary: My weekly treat!
