Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel
Advantages: nice smell, packaging, good
I got this soap and glory shower gel, called clean on me, as part of a present for my birthday. It came in the ever popular big pink box which seemed to basically fly off shelves last Christmas season in Boots stores. This was a set of full size soap and glory products, saving you money over buying them all individually.
I thought that the product had really good packaging, especially compared to the sort of packaging you would normally get for shower gels because it is a lot more practical and easier to use; it is a pump system rather than having to open up the tub and squeeze it. I find this a lot better because then you definitely get the last bits of it out and its a lot less hassle when you're in the shower in a rush - usually the other sorts of shower gel tend to be more messy and leave drops around the bathroom! In addition to the practicality, the packaging is also very attractive - it is the usual soap and glory vintage effect, with an allusion to the song lean on me.
The product inside is also lovely! I've been using it basically everyday for about 4 months now and there is still some left in the bottle so its good because a little goes a long way with this. I also think since using it my skin has been in pretty good condition, there is a moisturising element within the shower gel. However although this is good it only really helps along the way and if you have dry skin you should probably still use some body lotion of some sorts. The smell is also very nice you can tell its soap and glory product since it just has that sort of similar smell about it. It is only available from Boots or Asos and will cost around the £5 mark when bought separately.
Summary: excellent shower gel
