If you have read my previous reviews you will know I am quite a sucker for Soap and Glory products, so I was glad to see you can purchase this bottle of body wash for around £3.50 (Boots).
****PACKAGING*****
I love the look of all the Soap and Glory products, they are very girly and 1960's style, classy but fun. This bottle has a nice picture and lots of snippets of information across the bottle. Like most Soap and Glory products, the writing is a bold, eye catching font, and the colours are kept very basic (Silver, pink, cream). The packaging advertises a creamy, moisture shower gel, and the bottle is transparent, holding a lovely coloured, baby pink liquid. The dispenser is a pump, which is useful and helps you get the most out of the bottle, a very nice design all round.
****PRODUCT***
The product smells very strongly, and has hints of citrus fruits. Admittedly, when I smelt it, I was a bit put off by the strong, perfumed smell, but was proven wrong when I actually used the shower gel. I use a loofa to apply my shower gel, and two pumps of the gel (About a teaspoon full) went a long way. The smell on my skin was actually very delicate and turned out to be very nice. The hints of citrus were minimum and a soft,and gentle fragrance was left. The gel lathered up nicely and there was still more than enough left on the loofa to clean another person. I have had the same bottle for about 2 months and I shower 3-4 times a week. There is still some of the gel left which I think it fabulous value for money.
***ADVANTAGES**
The gel lasts a very long time and is not at all expensive. The fragrance is delicate and fresh and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed. The bottle is very practical and nicely designed, and looks more costly than it actually is, making it an ideal gift.
***DISADVANTAGES****
The smell can come across very strong and perfumed at first, but don't let this put you off. It does have a very different smell when on the body.
I would recommend this product and think it is a fantastic price. Again, another Soap and Glory Product which does not disappoint. Fabulous.
