I didn't understand the big hype surrounding the Soap and Glory range until last christmas when my daughter bought me the big Soap and Glory bag that was on the killer offer at Boots. It was about £45 down to £22 and contained a range of products including a face wash, body butter, body scrub, shower gel and moisturisers. I had a suprise yesterday because I got the bag out from ontop of my wardrobe and found that I hadn't taken the Clean on Me shower gel out. I'd used all the other products but not this one so I used it for the first time last night.

As with all the soap and glory products, it has a retro design with the quirky slogan 'clean on me in white and pink letters on the front. There's a black and white picture on the front of a woman and the Soap and Glory logo at the bottom. The rest of the label is pink so it's quite a girly looking product. The bottle is quite big and round with a pump at the top to dispense the product. The bottle is see-through so you can see the pale pink shower gel inside.

I used a walnut sized amount of the product on a scrunchie. It's quite a nice consistency, not too thick or too runny and it lathers very well. The pump is a brilliant idea as you don't even have to pick the bottle up to use it and it's so much easier to use than the screw-off lids in the shower. The shower gel has a fruity, fresh smell to it and it makes you feel really clean whilst using it.

After using this product, my skin felt really clean and quite soft too. I could still smell the fruity fragrance on my skin which was nice and made me feel quite girly really. This, along with the face washes and body scrubs has won me over and I now love soap and glory. I think it is a little bit expensive really, at £5.50 for a 500ml bottle when you can get other brands for one and two pound but it's such a luxurious product that I would splash out on it when I've got the money spare. All of the soap and Glory products are often on offer at Boots, on 3 for 2. This is mix and match, so you can buy the shampoo, conditioner, moisturisers or bath and shower products together. You buy two and get the third free which is good considering they are quite expensive.

I'd definitely recommend this as I'm as stingy as anything but I'll buy it again as it is worth every penny!
