This is yet another Soap & Glory product that I got in a giant gift set that I was lucky enough to receive. The set actually contained both a full size and mini version of the body scrub. I've had a look and for the full size 300ml tub its £6.64 in Boots and for the mini 50ml tub its £2.35. Therefore the mini tub isnt good value at all, so I doubt I will re-buy that one...instead I'll probably just fill it up form the big tub when needed.

**Packaging**

As with all the S&G products there is a lot of thought put into the packaging and it looks great, making the products even more appealing and fun to own and use. It is in a huge tub (much bigger than most large body scrubs) and it is bright pink with 'flake away' written in black capitals on the side. It also features a few captions such as "sssshhhhh! Now he'll never have to know that all this time you've been flaking it..." which I found quite amusing. The tub is bulky and heavy so wouldn't be suitable for taking out of the house, therefore the mini version is a good idea for holidays - despite being overpriced. The tub is better for use in the bath where it can be balanced on the edge of the bathtub while being used rather than in the shower basin where it would get full of water. Overall the tub looks great, girly and fun.

**My Experience**

The first thing I noticed about this was the smell, it is very similar to the classic S&G pink scent which can only be described as a high quality floral smell without smelling too old fashioned!! However this had a slightly fruity edge to it too. When I read the tub it says it contains shea butter, sweet almond oil and peach seed powder. The combination of these ingredients with the original S&G fragrance is definitely a winner and smells divine. The smell is quite strong and stays on the skin/in the bathroom after use, so anyone not keen on the smell or who doesn't like stronger smells may not like this.

When I started using the scrub I was so impressed with the consistency. I'm often left disappointed by wishy-washy body scrubs which just don't feel like they are doing anything, but this was far from that. The bits in the scrub are so concentrated you only need a tiny bit to work with. It spreads over the skin easily and really invigorates the skin. I also noticed I could rub it in for quite a while and it didn't 'disappear' like other body scrubs do, it was still very much there and doing a great job. The tub says it contains both sea salt and sugar which I feel works much better than the artificial 'scrublets' that you find in other body scrubs which tend to dissolve instantly. Personally I prefer very rough body scrubs that energize the skin, however if you are better suited to more gentle exfoliaters this probably wouldn't be for you.

The scrub has a paste like consistency rather than liquid, and the scrub is surrounded by what I could only describe as a balm which must be the shea butter and almond oil. This works well as it protects your skin while you exfoliate keeping the experience comfortable. It also leaves the skin feeling really moisturised after use which is a nice bonus. It does however mean it is slightly difficult to wash off so you have to be careful to make sure it is all off when you leave the bath/shower. After getting out of the bath my skin always feels moisturised and also smells great!

I try to save this as a special treat but have used it around 10 times now, yet the tub is still more than ¾ full. So even though it sounds quite expensive it must be noted that this is a big tub and you really wont need to use a lot each time so it will last ages. This, in my opinion, makes this product very good value for money.

**Overall Opinion**

I'm extremely impressed with this product and would confidently say it is the best body scrub I have ever used. It is well worth the money and is high quality. It is very concentrated and rough which suits me perfectly, however may not suit sensitive or problem skin.
