Advantages: erm....none

Disadvantages: doesnt really exfoliate, poorly thought out packaging

I recieved this as part of a gift set last christmas but have only just got round to using it, I am normally a big fan of Soap & Glory, although there have been a few products that I have not entirely enjoyed using - and unfortunatly this is one of them.

It normally retails for around £7 for a 300ml tub, and is exclusive to Boots so can only be purchased from Boots stores of Boots.com - there is often a 3 for 2 offer on Boots bath and shower products though so look out for those offers!

The scrub comes in the trademark bright pink retro packaging - this particular product comes in a big tub with a screw off lid. This is my first gripe with this product - its packaging. Other body scrubs I have used by Soap & Glory have come in a big squeezy bottle which have been perfect and easy to use, but a tub just makes things a bit harder. I find trying to hold the tub, unscrew it, scoop some out and put the lid back on whilst stood in the shower can be quite difficult. If I place the container on the side once I have taken the lid off to scoop some out I find water runs down my arm and hands into the container and waters down the scrub inside. When I got down to the last of the scrub it was difficult to get it all own aswell - so overall I am not a big an of the packaging for this one.

Using the scrub itself I also wasnt too impressed. It is quite thick when you first get it out the tube but as soon as it touches my wet skin it seems to water down fairly quickly and just dissolves and dissapears before much scrubbing has been done, because of this it doesnt really have chance to exfoliate my skin. Other Soap & Glory body scrubs I have used have plenty of grainy bits to exfoliate and also foam up and spread out to get much better coverage. This one however just doesnt go very far and doesnt really exfoliate my skin, I was looking forward to using it on my elbows, knees and feet but it didnt seem to have any effect at all.

Overall I definitely wouldnt recommend this, nor will I be purchasing any more of it. It isnt packaged very well, doesnt really exfoliate or scrub my skin - and so therefore doesnt leave it feeling any softer or smoother. Other similar products in the Soap & Glory range are much more effective and do a much better job. So - dont buy it, its just not worth parting with your pennies for!

Summary: nothing exfoliating about this body scrub
