Advantages: don't loose their shape or roughness and don't fade, good quality

Disadvantages: none

Exfoliating is a big part of most girls beauty regime and if it isn't, then it should be. Using exfoliating mitts is an inexpensive and effective way to remove those dead skin cells quickly and easy. There are a lot of these mitts around and of course they are all the same they all do the same thing and all have the same features but with some gloves they tend to rip, fade and smell after a while so I thought it's worth trying these mitts from soap and glory because they're only £2 so it didn't bother me if they did the same as all the others. You can buy these from boots and can find these in a lot of their gift sets they have for sale around Christmas time. You can buy these from any websites that stock soap and glory as well.

The design of this is pretty obvious, it's just a glove with an elasticated wrist I believe these come in only one size but they are stretchy I have relatively small hands and these fit my hands fine without slipping off like other gloves did, even after using these quite a few times but wrist band never loosened so these still fit perfect and don't slip off. These come in two different colours, the classic pink and white gloves and you can get these in black with purple dolka dots. My sister has the pink pair and I have the black pair, this is so we don't get mixed up and end up using each others which would be weird. These are quite thick when wearing these which reassures me they're going to do a good job because I've noticed the thinner flimsy gloves tend to rip and wear down easily.

My regime is usually this: put my hair up wash my face, either use a dry brush, then use a body scrub and then go into the shower and carry on as normal but now I have replaced my dry soft brush with these mitts of course I alternate between the two, I like to chill out and have a real beauty night on Sundays and this is when I use the brush but the rest of the days I use the mitts. I must admit I haven't had an awful lot of time to do what I usually do so I haven't exfoliated in a while and I have noticed that my skin is a little dull and dry so i've re started now.

The point of these mitts is to lightly dampen your skin and rub around in small circular motions on your skin where ever you like the rough surface of the gloves removes dead skin cells letting the skin underneath breath and glow. You can use these however hard you want, but don't use these too hard because I have taken some skin off on my leg before and it's very easy to do by accident. I use these everyday so I don't really need to use these very hard. When getting in the bath or shower my skin tingles and gets hot with the water because of cause you've rubbed loads of skin off, and in my opinion this is how I know I've done a good exfoliating job and I know when I get out the shower my skin will be really soft and that's before I even moisturise. Sometimes I will use these in the shower as well or if I never had time to properly exfoliate I will put a blob of shower gel and wash with them because you can get a really thorough wash with these.

I've had the same pair for around 6 months now, maybe even more, and they're just as thick and just as rough as they were when I bought them, I always rinse these in the shower and place over the radiator to dry ready for the next day so they're always clean. I have no holes in these and they smell great, considering these we're only £2 they're the best gloves I've ever used.

Summary: 5/5 for the best exfoliating mitts
