This scrub takes me back to my university days as this was what the girls in my house always used. I would sometimes pinch theirs and so when I was looking for a new scrub lately I decided to buy some of this again! It is a very good scrub that works very well but it is also very rough so it is harsh on skin despite it being a 'sensitive' formula so if you do have sensitive skin it may not be for you. It is important to exfoliate regularly so that your skin can repair itself and help to 'glow'. The dead skin cells can be washed away by using a scrub which is important for the skin. Of course you can find alternatives such as body brushes and special rough ... Read the complete review

St. Ives Apricot Scrub Gentle / Naturally clear This is the new look packaging, but don't worry I don't think anything has changed except the tube thank goodness! I love this scrub! It comes in four variations, I use the naturally clear for oily/blemish prone skin as I have sensitive combination skin - oily but dry and flaky. I struggle to find products that are good for my skin but this is one of my favourite products and I've been using it for years. It is oil free, made from natural ingredients and smells lovely! The exfoliating particles are tiny so it doesn't scratch like other facial scrubs I have tried, and it always leaves my skin ... Read the complete review

The first thing you will notice about this product is the smell. Its natural, gorgeous, fruity and not overpowering, just a lovely fragrant apricot, which lends itself to a higher end product that you might find used in a health spa. Next the consistency - creamy but with substantial exfoliating pieces that really work to remove the dead skin with minimal scrubbing effort required. In fact it is advisable to use a light hand when using this product as too harsh a pressure may cause discomfort, this is not to say that this makes the product in any way bad, rather it gives it a more rustic, natural consistency as a pose to more of a man made, refined texture ... A must have product: St Ives Apricot Scrub, why? Well my teenager loves it, he raves about it over all the other face washes I have brought into the house. Plus I love it, I know this product well from when I was younger! Time proven product in my view. The apricot wash / scrub has a lovely smell and the texture is great. It leaves your skin feeling clean. My son has 'spotty' skin and as mentioned this is his preferred product, have tried them all. He finds it helps his skin the most. It does not clear up the 'spots' but helps remove the black heads and makes his skin feel nicer (bless). The tube is convenient and unlike some other ... Read the complete review

I have always suffered from dry, flaky skin that also has a tendency to get dull. I am also sometimes quite lazy with my skincare regime (I will blame it on being busy!) and so my skin doesn't always look as good as it could. I thought I would try this scrub a few months ago as it was the one item missing from my skincare regime. I have to say, the results have been absolutely fantastic. The scrub is very exfoliating, has a gorgeous smell and leaves my skin absolutely glowing and purified. I honestly would not be without this now. I usually use the scrub on damp skin 2/3 times a week, but if you want a deeper treatment, then I recommend using it on ... Read the complete review
