I love to try different shower gels and bodywashes and when I saw that Tesco were doing a new range I couldn't resist trying them out. The range is called "All About Body", I know that they also do an "All About Shine" for haircare products and I had tried and liked the shampoo so thought I would see whether their bodywashes would be as good.
This is the Hydrating Bodywash which has triple moisturisers which is said to hydrate your skin and leave it feeling soft and smooth. The bodywash is available from Tesco stores and online at Tesco.com and costs 75p.
The bodywash comes in a 300ml plastic bottle. The design of the bottle is quite simple. It is plain white with simple writing on the front and instructions and ingredients on the back of the bottle. It has a light blue flip top cap, I found the cap got rather messy after a bit of use but otherwise operated fine.
The bodywash is a pearly white colour and is moderate consistency being not too thin that it runs straight off your hand but it isn't really thick either. It has a fresh, slightly soapy scent to it. I felt that this is where the bodywash falls down as the smell isn't as nice as I would want it to be. You don't sniff it and think that smells lovely, its not unpleasant but just not very exciting.
Rubbing a little bodywash between my damp hands it foams up really well and as you rub it onto your skin you do feel that it is a nice rich moisturising bodywash. My skin feels much softer after using this, there is a light scent but not much my skin just smells clean and fresh.
I like this bodywash for its moisturising properties you do notice a difference when you use it. However I really like lovely smelling bodywashes or shower gels and I feel this one lacks that. So although it is good value for money and leaves my skin feeling soft because it doesn't have a really nice smell I probably wont be buying it again.
