I find that my kids love to have bubble baths. Usually we go through the different products quite quickly, so when I was at Tesco with the kids and they asked me if I would get some more, I agreed. I spotted the Tesco versions, and thought they were cheap enough and looked appealing for kids.

There are two versions - a raspberry one and a pineapple one. Both are £1.55 for 500ml. The bottles were very kiddie friendly and reminded me a little of l'oreal and avon products with a similarly shaped plastic bottle compared to these brands with a flip top hinged lid, in yellow or pink. My boys opted for the pineapple scent - I think the pink bottle put them off a bit.

Of course, with it being a new product, they were keen to test it out the very day we bought it, so that evening I ran them a bath with this product in. The product grabbed me immediately as the smell of pineapple was so vivid it was making me salivate while the water was running. I added a decent amount to the bath as my boys like lots of bubbles, and the bath was filled with foam which lasted the length of the bath, and this gorgeous scent was there the whole time I was bathing them and for quite a while after I pulled the plug out of the bath.

An important thing for me with bubble bath is that my youngest son has quite sensitive skin. Some products leave his skin really dry, and a couple of times this has led to him getting a skin infection from scratching at the dry itchy patches and the hair folicles getting infected. One time this resulted in him getting a nasty case of foliculitis and needing antibiotics so I am always watching for products affecting his skin.

This was not too bad. His skin was no worse than normal as long as I made sure I rinsed all the bubbles off before him getting out the bath.

I would say you needed a fair bit of this product to make a decent amount of foam, but the foam did last well and it is a fairly low priced product so it was good value for my money and I would buy it them again. I would just make sure I have always eaten before bathing them as the scent was just too realistic and made me feel a bit hungry while bathing them. It is a brand that is definitely worth buying in my opinion.
