==TESCO Everyday Value Soap==
I think all households across the country uses soap to some degree I think. At my house we have 3 different bars in the Soap Dish on the side of the bath; Dad's Nivea Creme Soap, My Dove Bar & Mum's posher L'occitane! But the thing is, I've moved my Soap Bar to the side of the Wash Basin, in it's own Soap Dish! Well, I used to use Dove, which was nice & luxurious, but the price! That was the only thing stopping me from buying it as, because Soap Bar is on the side of the Wash Basin, it gets used as Handwash, & everyone uses lots of Handwash, so that's why I was baffled to discover that my Soap Bars were decreasing at an abominable rate! So to save money, I came across the 'Value' soaps in TESCO, & bought them, but they were cheap & nasty, & bought Dove again, regaining some of the moisture back in my hands. But then I heard the praises of TESCO's 'Everyday Value' soap & went in search of it, but l had to ask TESCO's to get it in for me! 3 weeks later, & it's proudly sitting on the shelf for the lovely price of 11p for a 125g bar!
To be honest l wasn't epecting much for a bar of soap that cost 11p, but for that price it was to cheap to pass up! The reasons why l hadn't had high expectations for this, was because it was 11p a bar, it was cheaper than even the Morrisons M Savers soap bars that were very nasty & because l had had previous experiances with the TESCO 'Value' soaps which I bought in a pack of 1 for 11p, same price as this, but that was VERY cheap & nasty feeling, so TESCO must hve changed there formula for making this, as it is REALLY nice!
The product is one large, chunky rectangular bar of soap, that weighs 125g, 25g more than most soaps, & is packaged in a clear packet hat displays the 'TESCO' & 'Everyday Value' logos in green, & underneath, you have green & dark green pictures of everything related to soap, unsurprisingly. Around the packet is the the Ingredients, Contact details for TESCO & the 'blurb' for the soap.
In use this Soap is really nice. TESCO state that this product is '''Formulated by Skin Care Experts & Approved by Customers''' & that it is '''Lightly Fragranced''' but during & after use there is a faint aroma that smells a bit like wheat, quite weirdly! The Soap bar is a nice, chunky bar that is shaped differently to the Morrisons M Savers Soap Bars that I did use, as they were to long & kept slipping out of my hand, but this is quite long but not as long, & is nice & fat. As a plus it dosen't slip out of my hands during use. The Soap Bar sits comfortably in the soap dish, except I have it lying on it's side so that the excess water on the soap will fall off & drip in to the drainer below.
I have used this in the bath, shower & for handwash purposes, & find it performs well in all uses. The bar sits well in your hand, & makes a nice lather on your body. Reinsing away is really easy & also, another plus point, is that is dosen't squeak as much as the M Savers Ones! Simply becuse the soap contains Glycerin, which is what Dove Bars Contain too, but for a much cheaper price. After use, the Bar is lovely & Moisturising, it leaves the skin feeling fresh & clean, & of course non squeaky!
==Summary==
All in all l find this soap is a great buy. It is very similar to the Simple bars that my nan uses, & of course actually smells the same. The bar is nice & moisturising, dosen't slip out of hands, is a nice size & dosen't squeak as much as the 'Value' ones used to or the M Savers Soap Bars do.
So as the title says; Go On, Treat Yourself - for 11p!
