Tesco Wake Up Coconut & Mango Shower Creme Bath / Shower

Product Type: Tesco Bath / Shower

The flip lid reveals a nice sized hole for the shower crème to be dispensed from; only a slight squeeze is needed to produce a generous dollop. The shower crème is a slightly translucent white colour, not the nicest looking shower product but it does smell nice. The Coconut scent hits me immediately, the Mango seems to be missing, the scent makes me think of Malibu. Do I want to smell like a Caribbean rum d...more

A couple of weeks ago when doing my big monthly shop at Tesco I decided to invest in some shower gels - after moving into my house earlier in the year I have been having mainly baths, and purchasing just bubble bath for me and my daughter... It seemed easier as I just have a shower over my bath which at first I hated... but more recently its just becoming easier to have showers than baths (main reason being when Im in a bath I find it very hard to get back out again due to my laziness!). Since I was a teenager I have prefered the kind of shower gels with unusual wake up scents such as Original Source - which is my favourite - as opposed to the floral scents. ...  Read the complete review

If you have read any of my previous reviews you will already know I am obsessed with Shower Gel and any Bath product that I see. As my last review was on my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder who would blame me, I have to be clean. But the Shower Gel obsession seems to be more than that to me. If you read my last review (or my other Shower Gel reviews) you will already know that I suffer with a rare skin disease which is getting worse as the days go by and for a long time I was unable to use any perfumed prooducts at all. As my specialist has given me the go ahead to start using my favourite products again it has left me with an obsession to smell nice and feel ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Wake Up Coconut & Mango Shower Creme: This Woke Me Up (398 words)

I've been trying more out of the Tesco range of bath and body stuff and the best thing I've come across so far has been one of their Wake Up! shower gels that is the coconut and mango variety. I love the smell of coconut so was happy that this one smells proper strong of coconut and the mango isn't as strong but is in the background and makes the shower gel smell fruitier. It's a shower cream not a gel and it comes out of the bottle as a proper smooth and thick cream that lathers good when I use it with a scrunchie. You don't get zillions of bubbles but the lather is nice and thick and feels good to wash with. I love the way the coconut goes all ...  Read the complete review

"Wake Up!" is a range of shower crèmes from Tesco made with essential oils. This shower crème is the coconut and mango for that "added tropical kick!" The shower crème comes in a curved plastic opaque bottle with a flip open cap at the bottom. Once you flip open the cap there is a seal to stop the crème from leaking out until you squeeze the bottle then it comes out quite easily. It's a good sized bottle that you can hold easily in your hand. I also like the fact that it has a flip cap rather than a lid it means you don't go dropping the cap in the shower and have to go trying to find it. The shower crème is a moderately ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Wake Up Coconut & Mango Shower Creme: What more do I expect? It was only £1... (428 words)

As a university student, I fit all the stereotypes, and especially that one where it states that all students are skint. Therefore, when I went looking for a new shower gel, and saw that the one I'd previously bought was no longer on offer, this £1 Tesco substitute seemed like a good replacement. The packaging The Tesco 'Wake Up!' range reminds me very much of the 'Original Source' range in terms of packaging. Both use a distinct black font and both bottles are designed similarly, with the black cap being at the bottom of the bottle. Perhaps this was done intentionally on Tesco's part in order to cash in on some of the success the 'Original Source' range ...  Read the complete review
