“ Brand: The Body Shop / Type: Shower Gel / Suitable for: Body „
===Why I Buy These===
I was made aware last year of all the offers you can get with The Body Shop online. Not being able to get to their stores I found this a revelation and therefore stocked up with masses of their products using special offers and free delivery deals so that I was able to give many as gifts but also had the chance of using many products I had not tried before.
I found this Candied Ginger Gel in the Clearance section of the Body Shop website and not having tried any of the ginger items before I ordered some to try.
The Body Shop was founded i the 1970s by Anita Roddick but has now been taken over by L'Oréal.
From their website - 'The Body Shop has always believed passionately that animals should not be used for cosmetic testing. We have never tested our products on animals. Similarly, we insist that all our suppliers have not tested their ingredients on animals for cosmetic purposes.
We're incredibly proud of our dedication to this issue, and our global campaigning against cosmetic animal testing. The EU banned animal testing for finished cosmetic products in 2004, and for ingredients in 2009.'

I love all the bath and shower gel varieties that I have trIed and they are also nice enough to give as gifts.
I use these products in both the bath and shower and they work equally well in either.
This Ginger Gel comes in a glowing amber coloured bottle which is unusual for Body Shop as they seem to have coloured the bottle rather than the gel.
Only a little is needed as it lathers well and the spicy ginger aroma is very appetisng and Christmassy. Definitely more a winter type of gel and I think it is only available around Christmas as limited editions - and now last year's stock is being sold off. Although if you really like it there is nothing to stop you using it all year round.
I love the gingery aroma which definitely reminds me of something but I cannot recall what. It cleans well and leaves your skin smooth and with a lovely smell. Also a gel that could be used by men or women.
An unusual gel which would be great for yourself or to use as Christmas gifts.
