I had always been tempted to buy something from the Body Shop Juice It collection, as the tester's smelled so yummy and the packaging so attractive. I finally did, when I purchased the Juice It Exfoliating Body Scrub in Mandarin & Grapefruit. Choosing the fruit variation was difficult, as there were serveral available options. They all smelled equally good and seemed to be pretty much the same stuff, just with different fruits. I don't think it really matters which one you buy, as you'll probably get the same results with each one. The results in the shower were pretty good. Its easy to apply as you simply squeeze it onto your hands (or puff) and rub all over your body. I'd previously used a exfoliator which came in a tub, which was quite difficult to apply. The squeezing was definitely easier. It all lathers up really well - I don't know if the lather is a good thing or not, as my previous exfoliator had no lather at all. Getting out of the shower and seeing the results, they were OK. To be completely honest, I don't know if it made any difference at all (it probably did, I just couldn't feel it). My skin didn't feel much smoother but it certainly smelled nicer. I don't think the results were as good as my pervious exfoliator (which was the Origins salt scrub by the way). I think salt scrubs must work better than non-salt scrubs and the fact it was set in oil probably helped as well. Anyway, I wouldn't neccessarily reccommend this product to you. If you want to buy it, buy it, but I personally think that you would be able to find a better product somewhere else. Although it smells and looks good, the actual results were quite disappointing.
I have always been a fan of the body shop products especially as they do not test any of their products on animals. The juice it exfoliating body scrub comes in different ranges: Strawberry and red berries According to the tube this body scrub is ?a blend of natural juices, powered walnut shell & rosehip oil to polish and smooth your skin?. The product comes in a squeezy 150ml tube of gel. The packaging is different to your usual body shop packaging this one?s colourful with pictures of strawberries and walnuts, unlike some body scrubs this one has a nice consistency (not too thick not too thin) lathers really well, I felt that it really left my skin feeling clean and fresh, smells nice too which is not too overpowering, the smell of strawberries and red berries leaves a subtle scent doesn?t last too long though, but I suppose this isn?t a bad thing if your going to apply deodorant or perfume. Application of using this product is simple you can use sponge, puff or just by hand, I personally prefer to use a puff as I feel you get more lather and it massages well into the skin, thus giving it a deeper clean. The price of the 150ml tube will cost you anything from £3.00 -£4.00 it tends to be in the sales now and again. I find that a 150ml tube will last me for 6 months but that?s with me maybe using it twice weekly. Grapefruit & mandarin According to the tube this body scrub is ?a blend of St John?s Wort, powdered walnut shell and lime oil to polish and smooth your skin?. This product also comes in a squeezable 150ml flip up top tube of gel. The consistency much the same as the strawberry & red berries, and again it also works into a great lather using a body puff. Does the job removes those dead skin cells and smells great. Mango and peach Lathers really well, doesn?t leave any residue, comes in a squeezable tube which is easy to use in the shower. Sme
lls just like a tropical drink , but wouldn?t advice you to drink this as you might end up seriously not well. Always makes me feel fresh and clean after use. Thanks for reading.
