Body Shop strawberry shower gel

I recently bought this from online at www.bodyshop.co.uk, although it is also available instore. The RRP is £4 for 250ml but is on sale at the moment for £3 which to me represents good value for money. It is also available in a very large 750ml bottle but I bought several "flavours" rather than just the one.
The product comes in a plastic bottle with a screw on/off lid and information about the product on the back of the bottle. There is a picture of a strawberry on the front and as expected, when I look through the bottle, the product looks red.

When I unscrew the bottle lid the product comes out quite easily as its not overly thick but neither is it so thin that it falls out uncontrollably. To get it out really easily, its best to give the bottle a little bit of a shake. There is a distinct strawberry smell and when poured under running hot water or applied to a sponge when showering, the smell can be smelt in the bathroom, which is all very pleasant. On a sponge, the product lathers up well and is easy to rinse off without leaving any residue, and similarly when used as a bath gel, it does rinse off easily and I am not left feeling as though the product is still on my body although there is still a faint strawberry smell.

WHAT I THINK OF THE PRODUCT...

The product is advertised and named as shower gel but I find it is equally effective when used in the bath. After bathing or showering when using the product my skin feels clean, smells faintly of strawberries and is not dried out. I do however still moisturise after washing, as the product doesn't seem to moisturise my skin sufficiently to warrant cutting this out.
It is good quality, and is suitable for all of the family- no one who has used it in our household has suffered any adverse effects. Even at the normal price of £4 the product is good value for money since a little of it does go a long way.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fruity shower gel which is suitable or the whole family.
