This shower gel smells lovely, it's got a delicate, light, rose scent, not overpowering like some of today's shower gels! And, unlike a lot of shower gels, the scent of this product last's a long time! It is quite an expensive product compared to other shower gels, but, it does go a long way. You only need to use a little bit each time. I use mine on an exfoliating body sponge, also available from Virgin Vie (shop or website) and makes this shower gel go even further. I have to admit that there were two quite superficial things that attracted me to the Virgin Vie Pretty Calm range - the name (which I think is very clever and appealing) and the very pretty packaging! It just sounds like the sort of product that you might need after a stressful day at work and this is one of the reasons that I really like the shower gel in this range. It comes in a very pretty pink plastic oval shaped bottle that contains 250 ml. It has a pretty sturdy flip open lid which is strong enough that it's unlikely to leak.
