The reason I bought this set was because of the very low price, I think I paid £14 then but the same set can now be purchased for £12. These clippers come as part of a 22 piece set and that made it sound like very good value for money but when I got them home most of these pieces were comb guides for shaving hair to different lengths. I've only used one of these guides and I don't think that many people would need to use more than that unless they were using the same set of clippers to cut more than one persons hair.
As well as the comb guides you also get two long hair clips in the set, a pair of scissors, a comb and two brushes (one to brush the hairs off you after you've finished using the clippers and the other smaller one is to remove any small loose hairs that have got attached to the blades of the clippers). There's a drawstring bag in the set that is much too big to hold the clippers and accessories so I don't use that and have put these into an old trainer bag with some of the hair appliances I don't use anymore, these clippers are not used very often at all so it doesn't hurt to keep them put away in a bag and I can always easily access them if I need to.
The clippers don't feel like very good quality to me, they have a plastic feeling that isn't very nice in my hand and when I'm using them to shave my boyfriends hair they make my hand sweat uncomfortably too. These clippers have to be used plugged into the mains and I'm not very happy about that because even though the cord is quite long it gets tangled up when I'm moving the clippers around, if I ever bought some again I would make sure they were the rechargeable type so that I could charge them and then not have to worry about a cord while I was using them.
Even though I don't know very much about hair clippers I know enough to be able to say that I don't think these are very good quality and the cheap price is definitely reflected in how they feel and how they are to use.
I'm glad I bought them because they haven't had very much use and if I'd bought a more expensive set then that would have been a bit of a waste of money because they would have been sitting in the drawer just the same as these, the only way I would have spent more money on them would have been if they were going to be used more.
