“ Brand: Nicky Clarke / Type: Hair Trimmer „
I bought this item primarily to trim my facial hair about 3 or 4 years ago as it was reduced in boots and I needed something to stop my beard getting out of control. It is small and feels comfortable in your hand and has a simple on/off switch as well as a small light which indicates if the device is charging (red light) or fully charged (green light). It also features ceramic blades which are supposed to be very sharp and not become blunt very easily, however one criticism I have about the trimmer is that it never got very close so you would still need to use a razor for a clean shaven look. I suppose I should have realised this as it is a trimmer and not a shaver, also nothing can really beat a razor.
Another major criticism I have about this device is that the charging station is extremely flimsy and cheap, I'm surprised it charged anything as it is just very thin plastic. After a couple of years the trimmer itself broke and would no longer turn on and off, I opened it up with a small screwdriver and there was some hair inside so I cleared it out but this still didn't fix it. Whilst it does state that it can be used for wet and dry hair I really wouldn't recommend using it on a longer wet beard as the hair clogs up the blades and I believe this is what broke mine.
