Slendertone Flex Female

First of all: I have had no problem with the display, batteries (I use Lithium ones, as they have a longer life that alk.), or with using the Slendertone belt.
Mold: only formed after it was left in a room, unused, which had mold problems and also leather shoes suffered from mold in the same room, also left abandoned for a period of ... six months.
Be more physically active whilst using the belt, and eating a well-balanced healthy diet will most likely yeild the desired effects of muscle toning of waist.
I've had my Slendertone belt for two and a half years, since I was eighteen years old. I used to be very active in sports when I was at high school, and at college before getting into university, and I found my Slendertone belt to be helpful for trying to keep in shape now that I was jogging and doing press-ups and sit ups rather than timetabled core P.E. and the hockey and athletics seasons for physical activity. Keeping my asthma under control (I have both exercise-induced and allergen, so car fumes of a city and cold air are always bad situations) was not always easy when jogging, opting for longer sessions of the Slendertone was my option when jogging held its difficulties.
Admittdley, I haven't used it in nearly a year and I haven't jogged much recently, either, but I've started using the belt on the abs crunch mode and gradually increased it (over a month and a half) up to short sessions of setting 60, and normal sit-up mode at 66. I think that this has helped me to, now, do ab crunches very well without the belt. It's very enjoyable and satisfing to get better an aerobics.
I am fairly certain that I have read that electrical stimulation of the muscles does not significantly increase muscle mass, when compared to the same exercises un-aided by electrical stimulation, but it sure is nice to be able to put the belt on in my room while doing what ever.I've had my Slendertone belt for two and a half years, since I was eighteen years old.

I am fairly certain, however, that I have read that electrical stimulation of the muscles does not significantly increase muscle mass, when compared to doing the same exercises un-aided by electrical stimulation (e.g. sit-ups, vs. what the Slendertone belt does), but it sure is nice to be able to put the belt on while doing whatever.
What's great about the Slendertone Abdominals belt is that it stimulates muscular contraction of the rectus, traverous and obliques.
Until two months ago, I admittedly hadn't used it in eight months, and I haven't jogged much recently, either. However, I've started using the belt on the abs crunch mode and gradually increased it up to short sessions of setting 60, and using the normal sit-up mode at 66-70. I think that this may have helped me to, now, do ab crunches very well without the belt (I could not do crunches efficiently when aged 17 at high school whilst still being more physically active than I am now). It's very enjoyable and satisfying to get better an aerobics.
The issue of mold: if, when using the belt, you have sweated and not cleaned the pads, and are 'left' around, mold might grow - I found this information from slendertone.plazadiscounts.com/page19.html after websearching for mold and Slendertone. I found mold on my Slendertone after the eight months of not using the belt, but I had never had mold forming even in the tiniest degree before. I was in flat which had a mold problem, though, in a room, and a pair of leather shoes molded in there, and I know that my Slendertone had been kicking around that room when not in use. So, when using the belt, I haven't actually had mold problems - just six months in a moldy room of abandonment. Also, I hadn't realised that I'd left the pads on. I always take them off after use, and put the plastic covers back on the sticky side. I wasn't sure about the mold, so I borrowed my mum's (which has always been kept clean) with some spare sticky pads.
I highly recommend the Slendertone, although it will most likely help with muscle toning whilst having a healthy, well-balanced diet, and probably with other physical activity, too (that includes brisk walking). Read the complete review |
