Soap & Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap
by SoadFan The problem with some of todays high maintenance poker straight hair styles is that even after a good session with nice hot pair of ceramic coated hair straighteners, the mere hint of moisture for some peoples hair is enough to send them out looking like a cross between Brian May (sorry Brian) and the sheep dog from the old Dulux paint ... adverts! Sadly I must confess that I am one of those unlucky types who risk leaving the house looking like Don King, if I dare to try to fit in even a quick splash in the bath or shower between hair washes. ********************************************************* Now, there is nothing at all wrong with a lovely fresh wavy, curly, bouncy do, if thats what suits you. If you are one of those lucky girls who don't need to set foot within 500 meters of a super hot straightening iron then you are truly blessed! A naturally curly girl is a lucky one to my mind! But for those of us that need a helping hand and don't want to look like granny in the shower, or risk the frizz, I think that the Soap & Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap has the answer. ********************************************************** Having been lucky enough to get one of these as part of a really lush gift set. I must say it also looks very fetching in its Soap & Glory signature soft pink and cream pack, when bought on its own too. Half the battle of persuading you that wearing a shower cap is a great idea, has been won already when you see how cute and sassy the shower cap appears on the shelf in store. The shower cap can be found in either Boots which stock most of the Soap & Glory range, or Harvey Nics and is priced at £6 or so as a stand alone item. ********************************************************* The shower cap is as lovely as any shower cap ever can be, when you first set eyes on it outside the box. Its a soft girly pink, with a black bow, frilled effect edge and plenty of stretchy elastic around it, making it suitable to fit a range of sizes. One size fits all! The shower cap has a satin look outer covering and an inner pvc liner which seems of decent quality. It is water proof when worn correctly and comfortable to wear. Its much less bulky and hard to negotiate when in the shower or bath than the traditional rolled up towel on head turban effect that I used to use. ********************************************************* The shower cap is nice and simple to keep clean and has kept its pretty look even with repeated use. You just need to rinse the shower cap after use both inside and out and once dry, it will be ready and waiting for you when you next need it. So girls, there is really no need at all to fret about shower time frizz any more, just bag yourselves a Soap & Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap. Soap & Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap
by stufflover I am a big lover of Soap and Glory products, and in one of the sets I was bought for my birthday there was a Soap and Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap. You can now buy this seperatley in all Boots stores and on www.boots.com for £4.50. The Soap and Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap is a nice pink color, with a ... black edging, a black bow and mine says Soap and Glory on it, although the new one has something else written on it, I am not too sure what it says. The cap has a ruffled edging to it, and an elasticated band so it will fit nicely to your head. I use mine when I want to have a nice soak in a conditioner, as the cap can keep all my hair in, whilst I soak in the bath and all the conditioner sets in nicely to keep my hair soft. The heat that is kept in by the cap helps to soak the conditioner in to the hair more. It folds up nicely too, so you can store it away tidly when not in use. I personally can not find anything wrong with this shower cap, and even though it is a bit more expensive then normal shower caps, this seems to be quite long lasting and has never let the water into my hair when I didn't want it to. It looks nice, and works just like it is meant to, so what more could you ask for? I recommend this Soap and Glory Waterproof Satin Wrapped Shower Cap to everyone, 5 out of 5 stars from me. Soap & Glory Bath Pillow
by stufflover I have like a million Soap and Glory Products, and in one of the sets I got for my birthday, there was one of these awesome bath pillows inside. The pillow itself is a pink pillow, which is inflateable and has a soft, cordoury style cover on it. There is a small mouth piece for you to blow in to inflate it, and just squeeze ... this piece to deflate it too. It only takes a few seconds to inflate, and won't take much blowing to puff it right up to full comfort. The pillow is perfectly shaped to fit around your neck whilst you lounge in the bath, and rests gently on your shoulders too. It really is perfectly comfortable, and it is so light weight too, you hardly even know it is there. I have used my pillow so many times, it is perfect for when I want to relax in the bath with a good book, but not want to get my hair wet. It is really easy to store away, just quickly deflate it, and it folds down to about a quarter of its inflated size, and goes almost flat, so you can store it anywhere in the bedroom or bathroom, or any where you please really, heck it is your pillow after all. You can buy this bath pillow in most Boots stores and online at www.boots.com, but I am unsure of the price as I got mine in a gift set as a present. These will probably be in another set nearer to christmas, and if you can get one of these, it will save you a bit of money and you get some other decent Soap and Glory products to enjoy too.
