I use Ambray Nail Polish Remover mostly because it's cheap, if Boyes have some in I can get it for about 69p for a 250ml bottle and I don't want to be paying much for nail polish remover so it's perfect.

The product smells very strong, I find they all do though as they are essentially strong, stripping chemicals, namely acetone.

The purple liquid makes it easy to spot on the shelf and a bottle lasts me months, you only need a small amount to remove all traces of nail polish from your nails so it's extremely economical.

For the best results I put some on cotton wool then just place it on the nail for a few seconds before starting the rubbing action. It easily takes off a couple of coats of nail polish without any problems.

It is very drying if you get it on your skin though but as it smells so strong I always wash my hands after use and moisturise to replace this lost moisture. Also if like me you tend to pull at the skin around your fingers it stings like crazy if you get it in a cut!

There's the usual keep away from fire, children and your eyes safety precautions with this but I tend to keep mine in the bathroom out of the way anyway. I've never accidentally got any in my eyes as I wash my hands immediately after use but I would think it could be very painful if you did, so don't!

Generally it does what you want it to do while being very cheap to buy too. I always have some in, I hate when I chip my nail polish and can't take the whole lot off!
