I purchased one of these two months ago, and its certainly not what i expected. Been typically lazy when not at work, i thought the idea of electronic muscle stimulation was great, excersising whilst watching tv. Not so, i spent £120 on my bodi tek, four pads and velcro straps are provided which until you buy it you dont realise you need to soak them in water, after about 20 seconds or so you can attach them to various muscles and its no easy job doing that on your own, and trying to find the exact spot is nigh on impossible. It is a lot of hassle for little or no results, it takes ages to set up and all it does is give you a painful tingling feeling if you dont get it on right. The manufacturers need to come up with a better way of transmitting the impulses to the muscles and an easier way to locate the muscles to attach the pads to. Or is it my muscles are too small to locate, possibly.

The Bodi Tek Enhancer is a machine that uses electrical impulses to create muscular stimulation which contracts your muscles using positive and negative impulses. This is done by applying 4 felt pads, which you have to soak in water, then apply them to you body using Velcro straps these are then connected to the Bodi Tek machine using wires. I purchased the Bodi Tek about 12 months ago and rarely use it now for several reasons: Firstly you have to soak the pads for about 25 seconds each where they state you only have to soak them for 10 seconds, Secondly when you do finally get started after all the rigmarole of attaching the wires to the machine, applying the Velcro straps and pads to your body the pads dry out quickly so you then have to remove them all re apply more water and reattach them to your body and so on and so on. The third and most important to me was the results or should I say lack of results. I was very disappointed with the results and found it to be of no benefit to me at all you are just left feeling wet and the only pounds you have lost is of the £££££ variety. Although Bodi Tek state the machine can be used to perform other tasks such as treating ailments like Backache, Sciatica, Tennis Elbow and Frozen Shoulder. I would not recommend this product on the results I have personally seen.
