... white cap/lid to the top of it which is a bit of a pain to be honest but like I say this is quite simply a basic looking product. Using It: Watery and lilac in colour and of course it smells really strongly of nail polish remover of course. To use it I apply it sparingly as it is runny like water to a cotton wool ball or pad and gently press on each nail and then wipe away. I don't have to scrub my nails with this with the method I use and it removes dark and light colours very well indeed and with very little effo...more

Boot's Essentials Nail Polish Remover: Boots Essential Nail Polish Remover (398 words)

After about 17 years of constant nail biting and never being able to wear nail varnish I finally trained myself to stop by using some of that digusting nail biting varnish and an elastic band to distract myself. It took me about 4 months to get my nails looking decent enough to paint (you're thining that's a long time but I made a few slip ups with the stopping). So I went on a huuuge nail varnish shopping spree and after being left with no money my mum decided to point out I would probably need some nail varnish remover. So I asked her to pick some up for me and she came back with this Boot's own as it was only 99p! At first I was a little annoyed as I ...  Read the complete review

This Really Is Essential! (656 words)

At the moment I have been trying to grow my nails and keep them in good condition. As they are getting longer and healthier, I have been painting them quite frequently. I have purchased numerous nail polishes for the upcoming summer months, and I am currently experimenting with them all. I like to change my nail polish around every two weeks, so as you can imagine I get through nail polish remover quite quickly. As I am currently on a budget, I decided I would go for a cheaper option this time, and that is why I went for the Boots own branded nail polish remover from their essentials range. Obviously this is only available from Boots stores and online on their ...  Read the complete review

Boot's Essentials Nail Polish Remover: Nail polish remover is essential! (428 words)
by - written on 24/08/12 (Very useful, 35 readings)

Nail polish remover is an essential product amongst lots more essentials. I hate having chipped nails and as soon as I see some of the polish chipping I tend to remove it and replace it with a different colour depending on my mood. This nail polish remover is part of Boots Essentials range, it costs £1 for a 250ml bottle. It is available to purchase in Boots stores or online from boots.com. As it is from Boots Essentials range, the packaging for this nail polish remover is definitely nothing special. It is transparent so you can see the purple liquid inside and has a white label containing all of the relevant information. The lid simply twists off ...  Read the complete review

Removing polish on the cheap with Boots (363 words)

One thing that I get through rather alot of is nail polish remover. I only ever paint my toenails due to biting my finger nails and surrounding skin all the time and I do like to paint my toe nails often. I mooch about in Boots rather alot and this costing only £1.00 for a 250ml bottle seemed a good little buy to me considering I needed it and it was an even better little product for me to get as I got it free with the points from my Boots Advantage Card! The packaging of this is very simple and basic really. The bottle as I have mentioned is available to purchase in a 250ml size and is a plastic bottle and on the front of it we are simply told ...  Read the complete review

Boot's Essentials Nail Polish Remover: Basic but Does the Job! (284 words)

Don't know why but ive suddenly turned 'girly' wanting to pamper myself more often and do the little things such as painting my toenails and fingernails. However I'm always changing my mind on things too - even on my nail varnish colour of choice. So I needed some good nail varnish remover - to save me picking hell out of my nails - and of course not getting very far in doing so. I purchased Boots own Nail Polish Remover about 3 months ago. The polish remover comes in a cloudy yet see through 250ml plastic bottle with a plastic screw off lid. You can see the liquid remover inside which is a purple shade. The bottle looks, all in all very basic, and ...  Read the complete review
