For those of you out there who can't afford the Braun Thermoscan then Boots Digital Thermometer is the next best thing. It's a fraction of the price at about £8/£9 and it can take temperatures by either being placed under the tongue or the armpit. It's very easy to work and has step by step instructions on the box.
