Boots Digital Thermometer: put your mind at ease (214 words)

Boots digital thermometers are great, mine cost me £6.99 5 years ago and still works perfectly today. I was worried with my first child that i wouldnt know if she was running a temperature after having her imunisations or when she was teething so for less than £7 this thermometer was a good way to put my mind at ease. When ever i thought she loked a bit flushed i would get it out of the cabinet in our bathroom, remove the plastic cover it comes with that protects the sensor on the end that detects the temperature, turn it on which is easy to do, all you do is hold the green button untill it bleeps at you, put it under her arm pit and wait for the ...  Read the complete review

DIGITAL THERMOMETERS ARE GREAT! (204 words)

I bought a digital thermometer to take my 5-month-old son's temperature after hearing a horror story about a child biting the bulb off a mercury thermometer. I decided that a mercury thermometer wasn't safe to use on a small child and thought that an in-ear thermometer would be safer, however the cost of an in-ear thermometer is around £40 (too expensive), so I settled on a digital thermometer as these were only £8. The digital thermometer is quick and easy to use, it is safe for a small child as there is no mercury or glass. You can use it in the mouth or under the arm and the digital display is clear and easy to read. You just press the on button, wait for the display .  Read the complete review

For those of you out there who can't afford the Braun Thermoscan then Boots Digital Thermometer is the next best thing. It's a fraction of the price at about £8/£9 and it can take temperatures by either being placed under the tongue or the armpit. It's very easy to work and has step by step instructions on the box. You press the button at the end to turn it on, when LC appears it's ready to take the temperature and you take the reading when the C sign stops flashing and you hear a beep. Once when I took my sons temperature it seemed to take ages before the reading was ready but I guess that was because his temperature was ...  Read the complete review

Accurate readings and piece of mind for a good price (255 words)

When you have kids it's an absolute must to keep a digital thermometer in the house, you just cannot guess when they will randomly get a fever, especially in the middle of the night. Boots Digital Thermometer is a safe, accurate and simple way to check and monitor your temperature or your kids temperature, it can be used by placing the metallic end under your tongue or under the armpit, probably best not to put it in your mouth after it has been under your own or somebody else's armpit :-) It's so so important that the thermometer you have is accurate, and lets face it when you purchase a thermometer you are putting alot of trust in the manufacturer ...  Read the complete review
