Advantages: Dinky, look nice and work really well!
Disadvantages: Do get a bit dusty when in use
I really like mini things. I have an oversized bag at the moment with lots of goodies in and I love to be able to smarten myself up on the go!
At the moment I am trying my best to grow my bitten down nails and have become more than a little bit obsessed with them! I've never had any sort of nail on my fingers before worth mentioning so when I spotted these cute little, handy emery boards in Boots I decided they may be worth a bash!
The Packaging:
Three small emery boards are lined up in a mainly bright pink hanging bag and the front is see-through plastic. On the front of packet I am told that they are Boots '3' Mini Emery Boards 'For Natural Nails'. On the back of the packet I am told a little bit about the product, that they are made in China and contact details for Boots are given. The pack is simple and you need to cut it open rather than tear it (I couldn't anyway lol).
The Emery Boards:
These are the only design I have seen these in and they are mainly white emery boards with multi coloured bright spots on them and those spots are on both sides of the board giving them a pretty and modern looking pattern.
The boards are rather hard and not all that flexible at all which isn't a moan from me. They are rather thick and feel rough like they have grains of sand heavily on both sides and you can see it 'set' on there like white sugar though they are not dusty or anything like that.
The boards are about 5 inches long and rather hard and really abrasive. I don't find them messy or difficult to use and they are really sturdy and firm. They are a little 'dusty' in use but because they are so highly abrasive really work well at filing a nail down.
Verdict:
I love these little nail files and think they are dinky and work well and very worth the money indeed. They are of excellent quality and not flimsy and last ages! They are great for finger and toe nails alike and I like everything about them and recommend them highly!
Only available in Boots stores costing £2.00 a pack of three though I bought mine on offer a couple of weeks back for a pound!
Summary: A gfreat little girly looking emery board!
