Advantages: Nice looking set.

Disadvantages: No power. Can't do the job!

Boots pedicure set is part of a range of electrical beauty items by the No7 range. It is exclusive to Boots. It costs £24.99 although I got mine on special offer for around £7. At the time I thought I had picked up a massive bargain, but once I realised how rubbish it was I think I got ripped off!

The pedicure set comes in a cardboard box, so fantastically recyclable packaging.

The set consists of a plastic silver tool which takes AA batteries. It is easy to hold in the hand and in that respect the tool has been well designed. There are three different round attachments which you can put on the tool. You then press the on button and the disk rotates really fast. The first disk is a pumice disk which is designed to get rid of the hard skin. The second is a smoothing disk and the third is a polisher. To get the best out of the kit and to add to the relaxing experience I would recommend soaking your feet first. It softens the dead skin making it easier to remove, whilst making sure your feet feel rested.

The real downside of this kit is that the tool just doesn't have enough power. The disks don't spin hard enough to do any real work and therefore the set is completely useless to me. If only it had a bit more power it would be a fantastic kit.

(I have tried brand new batteries and different brands of batteries which made no difference).

Summary: Not worth it.
