I have naturally long nails and like to keep them looking their best by giving myself a mini manicure once a week. I vary my nail polish according to my mood or outfits, and have a huge selection of shades to choose from. It all has to come off in the end though, and I like to have a reliable nail polish remover that can clean the colour off quickly and easily. I have recently been using this Nourishing Nail Polish Remover from Cutex, which is readily available from high street stores like Boots and costs £1.55 for a 100ml bottle. Cutex say: "This Nourishing Nail Polish Remover from Cutex, with vitamins and moisturisers, contains a nail whitening formula ... Read the complete review

I paint my nails quite often and usually end up using a nail varnish remover about twice a week on average when I change the colour on my fingers. I use it on my toes slightly less often. I had been using a really cheap nail varnish remover for a while and my nails were getting a bit weak on occasion and had sometimes snapped, so I thought that it might help if I changed to a better nail varnish remover. I have bought this one a couple of times now. I picked it because Cutex is a well known brand for nails and I was also enticed due to the "nourishing" claim. The nail varnish remover comes in a bottle, similar to most products of this type. The ... Read the complete review

Cutex Nourishing nail polish remover I have been using this product for quite a while now and I have used this brand before. I used the ultra cleansing version and it works really well. So as this one is the same brand I thought that it would work the same, did it didn't. *About the product* It comes in a 200ml container with a screw top closing. It says that it also has vitamins and moisturisers in it and that it is a nail whitening formula and this one is specific for weak nails. *My opinion of the product* Firstly I hate the packaging, it looks so cheap, but anyway, the product is a white liquid and it does smell so ... This is a review of Cutex Nourishing nail polish remover. I bought this particular bottle from the Cutex range as it promised that it was a nail whitening formula and I was keen to see if I could get my nails nice and white after wearing coloured nail polish. Price and availability I actually paid the full asking price at Boots of £1.60. This is slightly more than I would usually pay for remover but as I was suckered in by the promise of whiteness I spent the extra pence. On the website, the Cutex listing advises wearers to take a break from wearing polish so they can monitor the health of their nails. I suspect this is a rouse to sell more remover! I ... Im usually one that buys cheap nail varnish removers and never bothered with the expensive ones but as my nails got weaker and drier, i decided it was time to switch which brought me to Cutex, nourishing. I picked it up from Bodycare which is a cheap pharmacy store for £1.30 but i know in Boots/Superdrug it is priced at a little bit more. Other products in this range included 'Acetone Free' and 'Strengthening'. I proceeded with the 'Nourishing bottle'. The bottle itself is a decent size of 200ml which is pretty average for nail varnish remover. It is a see through bottle which i always love as you can tell how much you have left! The design is simple yet ... Read the complete review
