To go with my extensive range of nail polish I have the need for nail polish remover and find that the Cutex range has always been my favourite. I use the Cutex Strengthening Nail Polish Remover. It comes in a 150ml plastic bottle, with a screw top lid, that I have found does not leak, despite me leaving it lying down in my nail polish bag. I buy mine from Superdrug and it costs £1.59 and it lasts for ages. The bottle is a tear drop shape and the product is pink in colour.

The nail polish remover contains protein and a Pro-vitamin nail whitening formula which is aimed at those with brittle nails. To use the product I get a piece of cotton wool or tissue, unscrew the lid, put the tissue/cotton wool over the lid and tip it upside down a few times, this moistens the cotton wool ready for use. I then press it onto my nail, hold for a few seconds and then wipe away. The product works really well with most nail polishes and I find that a few wipes removes all of the polish without leaving any staining, even with darker colours. The only issue I have with the product is that it has very strong smell, but then again it is a solvent, so this is to be expected.

I cannot say that it helps to whiten my nails, but the condition of them has improved a little, but overall I like the fact that it removes my nail polish effectively and quickly. As with all nail polish removers, you should not inhale it and it should be kept out of the reach of children. It is also flammable, so you should be careful where you store it.

Overall I would recommend this product to others as it does a great job of removing my nail polish.
