      Makes my skin look flawless

It didn't take me very long to learn how to use this foundation brush but I did make a few mistakes to start with as I taught myself how much pressure I needed to apply and the best amount of foundation to add to the brush. The bristles are soft but they don't bend too much and they have a similar feel to artists paint brushes only with softer individual bristles.

To use the brush I dip it in my foundation and then I literally paint my face, that felt very strange to start with but I got used to it quickly and now I think my foundation looks so much better compared to when I used to use a sponge to apply it and that's amazing because I have always prided myself on being able to apply foundation well but I obviously wasn't as good as I thought I was when I used the sponge!!

The effect on my skin when I use this brush to apply my foundation is that it looks smooth and soft, you have to take extra time in application but after a while you come to expect that and just allow a little bit more time to apply it. I like the way there are no brush marks on my face and the way I can easily apply my foundation even to awkward areas like around my nose or near my eyes without having to spend too much time blending, this is because there is more give in the bristles than when I use a sponge so hard to reach areas can be covered quickly and easily.

Different foundations work in different ways when they're on the brush so it is trial and error for how much product you need to put on the brush when you start. I still don't feel very confident using the brush so I use a small amount at a time and keep adding more until my whole face has foundation applied, my friend has used a foundation brush for a few years and she's an expert at collecting just the right amount of foundation (she uses a different brush) and it's amazing how quickly she applies her foundation compared to me!!
