Advantages: Great fragrance, handy sized tub
Disadvantages: Hard to get them to work, greasy
The other day I was in a Lloyds chemist waiting for a prescription and a bit bored of waiting I decided to mooch about when I spotted these nail polish remover pads on offer at 39p a tub and knowing I had some very old toe nail polish on my toes and that I needed to remove it before going out that night I picked up a couple of the small tubs as I felt that they were a bit of a bargain!
The Packaging:
The tube is small, round and plastic and peach in colour and the lid section twists on and off with ease. On the top of the tub there are a couple of small pictures of oranges and we are told that they are Dermo V10 'New Formula' Nail Polish Remover Pads and that they are Acetone Free and that within the tub there are 25 sheets and that they contain an orange fragrance. On the bottom of the tub we are told how to use them, cautions are given as are the ingredients stated and contact details for Healthpoint LTD (the manufacturer of the product are listed. Its nice enough, simple packaging this and is easy to open and close etc.
The Wipes:
Well of course just in case your still wondering for any reason these are nail polish remover pads although calling them a pad is a weird description for me! These are round and are a very thin like a lint material with a little texture to them but in the main they are smooth. They smell really pleasant and of oranges in a really natural way and are wet to the touch. All you do is simply press and wipe with these, well thats what we are told to do with them however I really struggle to use these to be perfectly honest. They are wet so drip everywhere and the nail polish remover is greasy. You have to really rub nail polish off with these and I tend to need about 4-5 wipes per 5 nails and it really is tricky and time consuming to use them. I can't say that they don't work as though as they do to be fair to them! However you have to make sure the greasy residue is off the nails before applying nail polish because its so greasy it really makes nail polish go on streaky!
All in all these are ok to use if your desperate otherwise they feel bad quality and because they are greasy are hard to use! Not for me however they do smell nice!
Available in all sorts of discount stores and chemists and expect to pay around a pound for a tub containing 25 of them!
Summary: Not for me I'll pay more in the future for a product of this kind!
