I like soft, smooth and supple skin and will (when time is available) exfoliate. However I find that a lot of them make me greasy and make a huge mess and I hate the extra faffing about time wise that they take to use which is why I was interested in purchasing a body brush. I'd had one on my mind to purchase for a while however kept forgetting to pacifically look for them and so when I spotted this one in Dunhelm costing £1 (for the small size brush and £1.99 for the larger brush) I purchased one and couldn't wait to get using it and at 99p (I purchased the small one) I was pretty amazed by the price of it.
Comes in a large see-through plastic hanging bag and on the front of it we are simply told what it is and who it is by and a bit about the brush and then on the back contact details for Dunhelm are given. We are not given lots of unnecessary information and after-all we don't need it!
A Bit About The Brush According To The Information Given On The Packaging:
This Invigorate Wooden Body Brush is the ideal bathroom accessory. Perfect for baths and showers the body brush is great for scrubbing those hard to reach areas leaving your skin feeling fresh and invigorated.
Well first off lets talk about the brush itself shall we? .Made from natural wood this has a pine sort of colour to it though we are not told that it is pine, just that's its wood. As far as I'm aware the brush only comes in small 9cm x 25cm (4" x 10"), and large 7cm x 42cm (3" x 17").
Although I purchased the small brush the only difference I could see between the sizes was the length of the handle and I actually felt that the small would be easier for me to use as the long handle was a bit too long for me!
The handle is strong and not too thick and slightly curvy for ease of handling. It has a rope style hook which is beige in colour and of decent size for the purpose of hanging it (if desired) and then to the other end of it you have the brush. That brush looks like it has natural coloured bristles and plenty of them which are strong and robust and not once have I felt that those bristles malt from the brush or it go bald slightly.
They are not too rough but rough enough to buff up the skin. Though I can feel them really exfoliating my skin as I use it I don't feel that they are too scratchy and certainly haven't had marks on my skin after using it.
I find this brush to be excellent and of excellent quality and I'm so glad I got it. I simply use it on damp skin either alone or with soap or body wash or whatever and gently rub the brush over and not only do I find that I feel cleaner because I can clean where I can't normally reach I do find that skin is looking fresher and skin looks brighter and a lot less congested in general.
When I have finished using the brush I simply shove it under a running tap and that is that and I can use this daily if I want to!
I think this is a great body brush and its highly recommended from me. No need for separate exfoliators and things this is a simple and natural product to use on the skin for aiding circulation as well as being a beauty aid and at 99p? Its so worth a trialpeople!
