This amazing little device started life as a gimmick and was sold in joke shops. However, it did actually work and became very popular in US. I bought mine a couple of years ago in a health shop because the idea sounded so logical. This stainless steel fork has red and green traffic lights on the handle. This is designed to slow down the speedy eater. (Remember that you need to eat for around twenty minutes before your brain considers that you've been fed!)
