I love false eyelashes and own lots of pairs ranging from the outrageous to ones I can get away with at work. I brought this pair from Superdrug as they were on offer for a brilliant £2.70! I also think that the 'look like Cheryl Cole' gimmick sucked me in a little. I have seen this range in both Superdrug and Boots stores to purchase. Normally I believe they retail for approximately £4.
The pack is black with a picture of Cheryl Cole and the brand name Eyelure and Girls Aloud. The box is rectangular and inside there is a white 'tray' with both lashes attached and 'left/right' above each to indicate what eye they should be on. Also inside the box is a tiny little bottle of glue.
To use, all you need is a little bit of focus! Use the tiny applicator attached to the glue bottles lid to apply a small line of glue to the eyelash line. It appears white, but it will dry clear so don't worry. The best way to put the lashes on is to put both elbows on a level surface and look downward into a mirror. Then line up the falsies with your own lash line and press down gently. (a good tip is to concentrate on the corners, as these can be the first to pop up). Then you're done! If you like you can apply a quick layer of mascara to make them even thicker and longer...but this isn't advised if you want to re-use them numerous times.
The glue is excellent and the eyelashes stayed on comfortably all night, they were also very easy to apply. I was left with the appearance of incredibly long and thick eyelashes, that people commented on thinking they were real!
Once I wanted them off I just gave a gentle tug on the corner and the peeled off easily and popped them back in the box for the next use.
After using loads of different brands of eyelashes, I have to say these are some of the best I've had - and that includes some pairs that have cost me over £10. I've used them twice now and they are still perfectly in shape waiting for the next use!
