This is a review of Girls Aloud Festival lashes in 'Cheryl' which I found at Home Bargains for the bargainous price of 99p. In the kit you also get a GA lanyard which is due to the 'festival' pack theme.

THe look
The lashes sweep to the outer eye with gold effect on them and are quite outlandish and a bit fancy dress but they eyes have it all now and you're nobody without fake lashes on a night out so join the masses I do with this bit of titivation.

Price vs quality
Now for 99p I wasn't expecting much, but to be honest they were easy to apply and stayed on all night, with the option to reuse again! They look better on than they do in the packet in my opinion and were worth the 99p outlay.

Application
You get a small tube of glue in the pack to help stick on the lashes. A steady hand and tweezers help and i also find not too much eyeshadow to prevent the eye getting that attractive crusty look. I usually pop the glue in my handbag in case I have any emergencies during my night out.

Not for everyday use!
I wouldn't wear them on every night out but they are good for a special occasion and look great on photographs too.

Spec
The packet says they are lightweight lashes, easy to apply and reusable and contact lens friendly. I don't use contacts so can't comment on that bit but agree with the spec.

Extras
I haven't found a use for my 'Girl's Aloud' lanyard yet but I'll be sure to update this review when I do hahaha!

Conclusion
A good buy all in all, fun to wear, get comments and feel like you are making an effort. I would recommend buying these for a different look and the gold effect really does look quite nice on these lashes.
