The Product: Available from most major stores that stock cosmetics and skin care ranges, this product ranges in price up to £9.99. However, the bright blue packaging and quirky exfoliating system lured me into purchasing it. It's actually a squeezy bottle with a brush attachment on the end, the formula is pushed out of a hole in the center of the rubber applicator and you then use the brush to scrub your face, working the product into a foam. It promises to banish blackheads and give your skin a more matt appearance. The brush itself is made up of two separate kinds of 'bristle' - traditional ones and then long, thin ones designed to scrape the product off your face. Application: After removing my makeup and wetting my face, I pop the cap off and turn the brush 180 degrees so that the liquid can be released. I turn the bottle upside down, releasing some of the the liquid and quickly lift it back up and turn the brush again to the 'off' position. The liquid is incredibly runny and difficult to contain. I then get to work on my face, liquid slipping everywhere but. When I manage to keep enough on my face, I set to work with the brush, rubbing it gently until it becomes a slightly thicker white foam. To remove, all you need to do is remove the excess by using the thicker, longer brush pieces to stroke the formula off your face. I rinse my face and then the brush. The smell is still quite evident, almost quite bothersome. And my face doesn't appear any different, not that I expected to. I keep up the Exfo-Brusher Wash for the next two weeks. Pro's: Eventually gives a shine free finish. Gentle on skin Con's: I got a matt finish and anti shine, but the oil control formula dried out my skin horribly. It appears to make little difference to blackheads and doesn't exfoliate dead skin effectively. It just seems to get moved about, it's not a tough enough texture in the formula. Along with this it's far from easy to use. I really wouldn't suggest wasting your money on this product, it may do what it claims to, but it's drying on skin and doesn't exfoliate effectively.
